Thank you for tuning in. I'm Greg. I'm Mike. And we are the Pickleballers Next Door. We are for the Joes and not the pros. Your court, our court. Hey, we're here at the Rocky Mountain Championship here at Clement Park. Saturday afternoon, we're here with Logan and Kevin. Are you guys playing together or what's going on? Well, we just came here to watch and hang out with everybody. That's a good reason to be here. I'm going to be honest with you. That's why I'm here. Heck, yeah. So you play, correct? Yeah, I play. I know you do because I've seen you on Instagram. I know I've seen you. You're famous, man. How old are you? Nine. Nine. Wow. How long have you been playing? Five months. Yeah. Have you played in any tournaments? Have you played like any competitive matches? I played in one tournament in Grand Junction. How was that? Very good. I won gold medal in singles and silver in doubles. Wow. High five. Yeah, that's awesome. That's a smack of the hand right there. You worked hard for that one. Yeah. So what's your next tournament looking like? Where do you want to go play? Do you know? Well, there's this pickleball tournament in Idaho that I want to go. So what's it called? The National Junior Pickleball. Are you guys going? Yeah, that's in Boise, Idaho. Heck, yeah. It's next month. Wow. Yeah. So what level does he play at, Kevin? So he's a duper right now for juniors. Three point nine singles and I think three point seven doubles. Dang. How old are you? Nine. Dang. Can you beat your dad yet? No. Well, I've done it one time. Oh, has he beat you? He took me once. He took me once. Damn. He exploited my bad knees. Did your dad teach you? Did your dad teach you? My dad's taught me some and my coach has taught me some. Who's your coach? Give a shout out to him. Miss Elizabeth. Elizabeth Roy. Oh, Elizabeth Roy. Heck, yeah. She's here somewhere. She is. That's what? That's PlayHardRoy, right? Underscore E-Roy, I think. E-Roy, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's awesome. She's awesome. She is awesome. So what have you been up to, man? Other than playing pickleball with the kids. Yeah, yeah. You know, we're staying busy. We, you know, Logan's actually been really busy. He just became the youth ambassador for the Pickler at the Littleton location that's opening up in August. Heck, yeah. Congratulations, dude. Thank you. What about you? What are you doing there? I will be on staff helping with the youth program. Sweet. That's awesome. Yeah. That's honestly on my heart. And that's how I met Jen, who's the owner of the Littleton location. We started chopping it up and I don't have enough youth programs around here. We really don't. And there's kids who want to play who don't have the spaces. And I really want to help build that up. It's going to be popular. Totally. Totally. So that's awesome. That's what I'm signed up for. Logan's in. He just also became a Carbon ambassador. Oh, dang. So which one do you play with? I play with the Carbon Genesis TrueFoam, too. Cool. How do you like it? I really like it. Do you? It's awesome. That's good. So what do you like about it? I like the weight on it. So what's your favorite shot? When you make when you know when you make this shot, you're going to it's going to you're going to win the point. I like overhead smashes. Yeah, those are pretty good. My favorite's the backhand flick. And he's got a good one, too. Yeah, I've seen it from the other side of the net. Unfortunately, I think you should play great. What do you think? Do you like to get body bagged? No, you don't want to play in our garage. I get hit like 100 times by my dad. That's true. Yeah. Let's conditioning you. That's for context on a pickleball court. You didn't win. You're getting flogged. No, that's awesome, man. Dojo right there. And you're not playing in this tournament. No, I'm here to stay. Awesome. That's awesome. I love that. This is this. I'm not. I'm not either. I'm actually here. So to help with promotion for the pickle, that's opening your help. You're here to help him hang out. That's pretty much like, yeah, it's hard work. You know that the next tournament for the RMC is going to be in Steamboat. That's right. You need a partner. I have one for you. Chris, Chris, Anna needs a partner. You know what? I'm a beginner. Would you teach me some things? I think she's just being humble over here. No, no, she's a beginner. She's a beginner. Very beginner. 2.0 at best. That's my line. Yeah. Oh, you say 3.5, but she's seriously. No, I'm just being a jerk to me. But yes, I really am a beginner. She's a beginner. Yeah. You would probably whip me on the court. You want to play her now to play with some singles. Oh, you're a singles guy, huh? Yeah. Awesome. Awesome. I don't know the first thing about singles. I kind of suck. Look, speaking of your coach, there she is right there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Heck, yeah. I'm going to try and call her over here. Okay, do it. Okay. Elizabeth. Elizabeth. Yeah. Look who we have on. Yeah. You want to jump on? Yeah. Tell us about this Yeah. Tell us about this gentleman. Elizabeth Roy, everybody. Play hard. Roy. Yeah. On Instagram. Move into the mic. There we go. Not much. Talking to the mic. Yeah. Yeah. So tell me about this guy. How's he? Yeah. I can turn that up for you, too. Maybe. Logan, I feel like I'm really close to the mic. There we go. Is that better? No. How about now? Try it now. Testing. Yeah. There we go. That's loud. Yeah. Yeah. So tell me about this guy. Tell me about this guy. This guy. Oh, he's a future superstar. I think he already is one, but he's going to be you're going to see Logan around. Awesome. He was telling us how much he loved his coach. And I was like, who's your coach? And he's like, Miss Elizabeth. And I was like, I think I know who you're talking about. And there she is. Yeah. Logan's been like my favorite person to coach, too. He's always there. He's serious. He's ready to go when he's practicing. And I really appreciate that. That's awesome. Yeah. It does an awesome job. You're ready. You're ready to make a a tour run, huh? Yes. Heck, yeah. And he's going to go to Idaho to play in a tournament. Are you? I didn't know that yet. I forget what it's called, though. It's a it's a junior tournament. Oh, sweet. Yeah. He just said it. And I forget. But that's what I do. I forget things. I'm sorry. Yeah, that's all right. But it's hot out here. It is. It is hot out here. It feels like it feels like 200 degrees. I know. But you want to know what's crazy? Today's cooler, I feel like than yesterday. No, no, no. I feel like it is. We don't have any clouds today. Yeah, I guess that's true. But I'm not playing either. So I can't really make that call. But you know what? We really appreciate you being on, Logan. Elizabeth, thanks for coming over and talking about this guy. Yeah, I can't wait to see what your future holds, dude. Seriously. Good luck for everything. It's going to be great. And congratulations on that last tournament. Yeah. Yeah. Heck, yeah. Thanks, guys. Oh, wait. Before we leave. Why don't you tell everybody your Instagram so people can follow you? Maybe. I don't know if that's a good thing. Yeah. I forgot what that's called. It's Logan that you write. Let me tell you right now, because that's a great call. You definitely want to keep in touch. Yeah, you want to get those followers, man. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. It's LoganHugh.PB. Awesome. Nice. And then, Elizabeth, what's yours? Oh, playhard underscore eroy. Heck, yeah. So follow, follow, and follow. Thanks again, everybody. We appreciate you guys being on. Thanks for having us. Absolutely. And we'll talk to whoever we talk to next. See you guys. Bye. Stay good. Thanks for tuning in to Pickleballer's Next Door. I'm Greg. I'm Mike. And I'm Christana. And she is a 2.0 at best. Thanks for tuning in. We are here today with Austin, and he is one of the owners of Holy. It's a hydration drink stick. Recovery. Yeah. And we wear a little of everything here. Yeah. Yeah. It's Holy Hydration. We're Pickleball Hydration. So we're here giving players electrolytes, making sure everyone's staying hydrated and feeling good when they're out here playing, because we're hitting like 100 degrees today. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's been crazy. So I've been hearing about people. The people have been coming by the booth saying like, oh, it's so hot. You know, I need a little something, something. And so me a little pick me up. Yeah. It's really tasty. Yeah. It tastes really well. And you put yourself so you're right in the sun. So it's working because you haven't passed out. Yeah. Yeah. I know. As the days gone by, the sun just keeps creeping into my spot. I keep looking over. Is he still standing up? That's us working. At least your tent's still standing. Yeah. I know. I know. The tent, fortunately, is still holding up today despite the wind. So, Austin, why don't you tell us how you got into the drink business or, you know, to help people and then how you got into pickleball as well? Yeah, well, I started off pickleball probably about six years ago. So just was able to see some people on the courts have the opportunity. You know, it wasn't as big as it is now, but I saw people out playing and thought, oh, that looks like a lot of fun. I played a lot of ping pong, a little bit of tennis. And I actually played it once in high school and was like, oh, I haven't seen that in a while. So I got to ask you, did you have a wood paddle at six years ago? I did. Oh, I knew it. Yeah. Yeah. That's funny. Starting out. You had the wood paddle. Yeah. So, you know, you know how it goes. You start off just finding whatever you can, you can hit, whatever you can hit with, whatever's available. You don't know. And then you get out there on the courts and realize that it's not terrible. You know, as, as time goes on, it evolves. And, you know, now I'm, I've got my own paddle that I use, of course. But yeah, I just instantly fell in love with it. I, I fell in love with it in high school. We played it in PE one time and I was like, this is incredible. Yeah. It's addicting sport. And it disappeared for so many years until it resurfaced six years ago. Yeah. That's crazy. I've all through my school career, never was pickleball ever introduced ever. Yeah. It was random. They were just cycling through different sports just for us to try as high school students. Yeah. And pickleball happened to be one of them. And it was, it was wooden paddles that we used. Yeah. That's so funny. And we only played it for maybe what I needed to know about a wooden paddle. Yeah. And it is. Yeah. And we, we played for maybe about a week, which isn't very much, but it resonated with me. It stuck with me for so many years, but there was just never any opportunity to play it until I'd stumbled upon it and was like, okay, let's, let's get back out there and just had a great time. Well, I think the three things was dodgeball, kickball, and then was a pickleball. Yeah. I mean, the pickleball was the first time I had ever heard of it. Yeah. Yeah. And it was the last time I heard of it for quite some time. Yeah. But look at it now. Look at it now. We got over 700 people here just playing, just playing pickleball tournament here. So how did that translate into the drinks? Yeah. So playing pickleball, it's so much fun because you can invite all your friends out to play, right? It's easily accessible. The barrier to entry is very low. I'd invite people to go out and play tennis with me. None of my friends would come. I'd say, Hey, let's go play some pickleball. And none of my friends have any kind of really racket sport background, but everyone will come out and we play some pickleball. But that being the case, you get a lot of people coming out who haven't necessarily been as active as other people might have been. And so they're out in the sun for hours and hours because if you blink, you'll miss it. You realize that you've been out for so long. Yeah. You can spend some time on the court before you know it. Three hours are gone. It really is incredible how fast that goes by. And so I find that I don't necessarily drink anything when I'm playing or eat anything when I'm playing hard. Like when I'm playing hard, hard, hard, I don't eat and I don't drink, which is no good. Do you do it after sometimes drink? Yes. But like food, not always. It takes me like an hour and a half, two hours to like come down and then I'll get hungry. And so do you have a pregame? What do you have? Yeah. So we've got a few different products. We have our pregame, which is our energy focus. And that one has a little bit of caffeine in it. So if you're starting off, you needed something to wake you up a little bit. That one's great for it. We have our in-game hydration and then we have our post-game hydration. So each product has a little bit of a different purpose. The in-game hydration is very electrolyte dense, which is what you need when you're out playing for those hours. You blink and time goes by. You're sweating, especially when you're out in the sun on hot days like this, you're losing so many important electrolytes. And so you might start feeling a little bit lightheaded. You might start cramping up. So it's important to hydrate with those electrolytes. And with our in-game hydration, people are able to drink that and replenish all those things. Sodium, potassium, magnesium, the things that you're losing so that hopefully when you're out there, you're not cramping, you're not bonking. You're able to be out there and have a great time and enjoy the experience. So when I would get this package, I would just drink it right away fast and drink the whole thing. So that's the one I drink. And then I would mix the next one into my normal, the drink, the sipping water that I'm going to sip throughout the play, right? Yeah. Yeah. That'd be in-game, right? Yeah. Yeah. So you have your in-game that you sip on while you're playing. I like how you've got, these are awesome the way you've named these, you know what I mean? Well, we just want to make it easy for people to understand when to drink them. And I'm going to be honest, my favorite flavor so far is that orange one. It's good. That orange one, it tastes like an orange Julius. And for those of you that aren't old enough for orange Julius, I don't know what to tell you. I'm dating myself. I'm old, but I'm not as old as you guys. So thank you. And thank you. We all remember orange Julius. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The orange is delicious. I was thinking of high C. I stopped to try it. Yeah. High C. Do you know what high C is? High C, yeah. They still have it at McDonald's. I liked your raspberry lemonade though. That was really good. Yeah. Raspberry lemonade's one of my favorites. All the flavors are delicious. They taste good. There's no aftertaste or like salty taste. You know? Yeah. That's something that was important for us when we were making it is we wanted to make sure that it tastes good because it doesn't matter how good it is for you. If it tastes like garbage, you're not going to want to drink it. Exactly. Yeah. And so we have a variety of flavors, especially with the in-game hydration. So we've got, you know, the black cherry, the orange burst, the raspberry lemonade, grape, coconut lime. It tastes good. I haven't tasted one yet that has not tasted good. I do have a question. Yeah. You have straight packs of everything. We do. Yeah. Do you have a mixed pack that has everything? We don't have a full mixed pack. What we do have though on our website is a sample pack. So people who haven't tried any of our flavors yet, they can go on our website. They can pick up a sample pack. It's actually free. You just have to cover shipping and handling. But aside from that, it's a great way to get introduced to the different flavors. It includes our pregame, our in-game, our postgame and some greens. I haven't mentioned that, but we also have greens. Yeah. So we can really get happy. I've not had them yet. Oh, okay. Just for general overall health. No, which is great. I mean, you're thinking of the whole package. Exactly. Which that's what I love. And this is pickleball, right? Yeah. I mean, it's not working out. It's not golf. I mean, they're just different, right? And you don't see like, golf is like, I think the pregame is like shots and then beers. And then in-game is like a hot dog. Yeah. So you've stepped it up. You're bringing the health back. You're bringing the health back because that's not happening in pickleball. And you're right. Once you open that gate or fence or whatever you go through to play. Yeah. You're done. You don't think about anything else and you're right into the moment. Yeah. So it's important. So people that are listening, you really need to get a hold of Holi and get some of this because it's going to change the way you play. And then what you're saying? Yeah. Well, our tagline is never stop playing. That's awesome. I really like that. That's good. I mean, that's the way I felt when I first played it so many years ago in high school is I was immediately addicted to it. Yeah. And you don't stop playing. That's the problem. Yeah. You don't stop playing. So you don't drink. Yeah. And I mean, when Greg, Mike, I mean, we all, we all played just recently. We did. And had a great time. And we were out there playing game after game after game. Yeah. Did you see me drink? You did afterwards. Yeah. After we were done. During the game. So no. No, exactly. That's what I'm saying. I don't. Yeah. Yeah. Well, and I, you know what? You can drink water. This is funny. My buddy, he'd take a case of water every day. He was in construction, a case of water, and he ended up getting dehydrated. You didn't realize he's like telling the doctor, I've been drinking lots of food. He's like, well, you have no electrolytes. You have nothing in your, you can drink water all day long. That doesn't mean that's hydrating you. Yeah. And that's what people don't realize is when you're sweating, you're losing more than just water. There you go. So when you're water, when you're just drinking water, sure, you're replenishing that, but there's important salts and potassium, magnesium, all these things that you need to put back into your system. So you're having a good experience, right? Going back to our tagline of never stopped playing. The whole reason we built this, we call it the program, right? We call it the program. I like it. We wanted to create something where people could feel good, regardless of what aspect of their game was that they're focusing on. And we wanted to make it easy for people to understand where to use those different products and just package it up. So with, you know, setting up this whole system, we wanted to make it so people could have a good experience and enjoy the flavors. No, this is awesome. I love it. I think you've made it simple. Because I don't want to mention other names and stuff that you can buy that you drink it and you feel like you're so thirsty that you can put a whole. It's so salty and it makes you so thirsty. Yeah. That's so bad. And you feel like when you start to drink, you're like pregnant or something. Yeah. I mean, it's bad. Yeah. So I like that. I've tried yours. Drink it. It's quick. It's small. Tastes good. And I'm on. I'm ready to go. Well, you know, it's really interesting is Kyle Yates. You know, he's a professional pickleball player. He was telling me the story about there's this tournament that he plays. He's played it for the last however many years. And every year, historically, he's just been renowned for cramping in the middle of the tournament. He just has really bad cramping experiences. And then he said this last year he had our product because we're not just barely a year old. We're pretty new. Yeah. And so he took our stuff this last year. And he said it was his first experience where he did not cramping. Yeah. Hell, yeah. That's amazing. Yeah. And then that says something. Yeah. That says something. Yeah. You gave me some and I would take I used it and I went home every night. I just sat in my chair and then I'd move and my leg would cramp. I haven't had it happen either. So I'm so yeah. So you have. Well, what's your potassium in there, right? I think you told. Yeah. So we've got the potassium and magnesium, which helps with cramping. Yeah. And then also in our recovery drinks, we have BCAAs, branched chain amino acids, L-glutamine. So this is all stuff to help with muscle and joint health to support yourself. So after you're done playing, you know, if you're having a hard day, you drink that and it helps with soreness the next day. Yes. Wouldn't you say you would do it for all the people that aren't playing too? Yeah. I mean, because of the heat, you know, we're losing all our. Absolutely. You don't have to be on the court playing for hours and hours. For everybody. I've just been standing at my booth and this man has been absolutely cooking. He was baking. Yeah. I'm waiting to watch you fall over. I'm sitting here right now and my the backs of my knees are running down my calves. Yeah. Yeah. It's hot. It's crazy. It's really hot. It is hot. Yeah. And so having this stuff, even though I'm not running around the courts, I've been needing it. I've been drinking a lot of it today and I feel great. It's really good. Amazing. So why don't you tell all the listeners where they can find your stuff, where to follow you on Instagram, the hole nine yards. Absolutely. Yeah. Holyperformance.com. It's H-O-L-E-Y. Like the holes in a pickleball. So you can pick us up. Yeah. Pick us up there. Holyperformance.com. You can follow us at Holy Performance on Instagram or Facebook. And if you have a pickler nearby you, we're in all pickler locations. Heck yeah. Yeah. I've seen that. That's right. And go get the free samples, guys. Go order it and you're going to see a difference in your game. Yeah. So Austin, thank you so much for being on, man. This was great. Thank you. Thank you, guys. This has been great. We look forward to working with you in the future. So if you need some hydration, go to holyperformance.com. Get that holy. Yeah. Drink that holy. Get your holy water. Get your holy on. Get your holy on. I like it. That's funny. Thanks, man. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Thanks for having me on. Stop playing. Thank you. Thank you. So we're here with Nixon and Matthew. Yes, sir. And they just finished playing in the three, five minutes. Three, five minutes. And how did you guys end up doing? We did pretty good. We lost in the quarters. I know there's no excuses to losing, but Taewin picked up pretty bad. And just kind of game got away from us a little bit. It was really close. But yeah. It happens. How old are you? 14. Nixon, how old are you? 10. 10. 10 years old and they're playing adults. So 10 and 14. Yes, sir. 10 and 14. Heck yeah. And so do you guys play together a lot? So this is actually our first time. Funny story. So last night at about 10 o'clock, I got a text saying, hey, there's this kid named Nixon and his partner had to drop out because he got hurt. And he gave me his dad. And I'm like, okay, fantastic. I would love to play with him because I couldn't find a partner. So I texted his dad and we ended up here pretty much. Which is awesome. What a great guy. Yeah, for sure. Thank you. That's awesome. Nixon, how was it? How did it go? How do you like playing with him? Yeah, it was fun. Good? Yeah. How did you play? How did you play? Were you happy with your performance? Yeah, pretty happy. I missed some balls. As everyone does. The wind started picking up too. Okay. And so the last team that you guys lost to, how old do you think they were? Like 50 something. 50 something, are you sure? Or were they like probably in their 30s? Probably in their 30s. 30s or 40s. That's a kid's adjustment of age there. Come on, be nice. That's awesome. It's okay though. I mean, you guys are stepping up, which is incredible to play what you're playing. So Nixon, how did you get into pickleball? Oh, so in St. George, my grandma, she introduced us to it. And one night, my mom and dad went to a league just at the YMCA. He was like, this sports for old people. I hate it. And then, come on, dad. And then they went. So they thought it was going to be like 30 minutes or so. And then they played for like two hours. Yeah, that makes sense. And so the next morning, my dad asked my mom if she wanted to go drill. And then we just kind of started playing. Cool. And what kind of paddle do you use? YOLA. YOLA? YOLA IV. Oh, nice. You like that? That's your favorite? Yeah, I like it. So these are our up-and-coming pros right here. Thank you. What's your duper? Well, my duper is not very good. It's a 3.2. But I haven't played very many tournaments lately. You want to know what? What? She's a 2.0 at best. I don't even have a duper. I think my duper is a 3.7. Nice. I do think if I played more tournaments, it would be higher, though. Yeah, for sure. We'll get you there. So my guess is we'll see you in Steamboat at the next RMC, correct? Yes. Will you both be there? Yes, sir. Or yes, ma'am. Sorry. And do you have any tournaments in between that? I'm looking around. Maybe. I'm hoping to play with Nixon for the Steamboat one, too. So it's going to be fun. It's going to be fun. Well, we'll see you out there for sure. And we'll hope you guys will be the pickleballers next door. Heck, yeah. Where are your shirts? We got you. We like it. We like it. Heck, yeah. Cool. Thanks, guys. No problem. Have a great time, you guys. See you in Steamboat. See you. Welcome to Pickleballers Next Door. I'm Greg. I'm Mike. And I'm Christana. And we are here with CanBites. CanBites Chiropractic. CanBites Chiropractic. That's a mouthful. That is a tongue twister. My last name's even worse. So I'm Dr. Alex Scherneke. So I've been with the practice for six months. I graduated in December 2024. Nice. Not a lot of people. Nice license. Oh, thank you. People think, oh, you're just out of school, kind of nervous to say that. I'm like, no, I'm out here to learn. I'm out here to help people and help people play pickleball, too. Yeah, you're ready to go. How long do you have to go to school for? You could get a doctorate, right? Yeah, it's three and a half years. I chose to go kind of the long way. I did an undergrad degree at Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, Nebraska. OK. So that was full four years. And then decided to go to chiropractic school. And that was another three and a half. Nice. You can do kind of an accelerated route. Just get your 90 credits, get right into school. And then you can earn two degrees at the same time. But I'll tell you what, that's a lot. Yeah, definitely. So tell us how you got involved with pickleball. So funny story is my time at Wesleyan, I actually took a physical education class. And we had to learn about a new game. So I was like, oh, let me look up just some niche games. Cricket came up. And then pickleball came up on my Google. And I was like, oh, what the heck is this? So I read about the history. And I have a tennis background in high school. So I was like, oh, let's learn about this. And I was like, oh, this looks very similar to tennis. But it's not. I played doubles. I love being up at the net. I was like, this looks like my game. Now we know why you went to school longer. Because you started playing pickleball. Yeah, a little bit. You've had someone on like this before. You know this story. So where do you play pickleball? So I'm trying to pick up a league. I want to get more involved. I'm actually in a beer league softball. I used to play baseball for 16 years. So I'm scratching that itch. But the pickleball itch is coming back. Where do you live? I live in by the tech center. I live off of, oh, gosh, what is that road? Tamarack. Yeah, yeah. You should come check out the Aurora Pickler. Okay. I'm a member there. Okay, heck yeah. So I actually really picked up pickleball in chiropractic school. They brought it as an intramural. So there's 10 trimesters. And then that first trimester I was there, we did like a battle between the trimesters. So I fielded a team. And it was 12 of us. And only two of us play. But I made some great friends from there. I still keep in contact with them. I was captain of that team. And they kind of refined it down. So it was two and two. And then I play with my friend, Dr. Kami Ward. She's out in Austin, Texas. So shout out to Kami. But we tore it up. And, oh, it was so fun. It was a lot of fun. Have you ever been to a tournament like this before? I have not. This really reminds me of doing the tennis and doing the meets. And we would have tournaments like this. But the atmosphere is great. There's a lot of people out here. The food trucks. I mean, there's baseball fields nearby. So that's close to my heart. I'm just like, oh. This is a beautiful place. Yeah, all I'm missing is a grill. And I'm back in middle school playing again. You know what? We're the grill guys. We like the grills. Oh, yeah. I haven't had any of your grill in. You don't grill. We go where the grill is. So on the courts here right now, as we're talking, are all the open division men's doubles, which means 5-0 to pro. 5-0 to pro. These are the guys you want to watch. As a pickleball noob, so I don't understand the rankings at all. I'm a newbie, too. She's a newbie. 2.0-ish. 5.0 is very, very high level. And then anything past that, you're probably going to be pro. I mean, there's a guy out there right now that's a 6.5, 6. Which is crazy. That's just crazy to me. Kyle Yates, right? Yeah. I assume you kind of get that ranking as you win more tournaments? Yes. It's a thing called duper. It's the dynamic user pickleball rating. And it's an algorithm. Basically, every match here is going to be put into duper. And then depending on how much you won or who you played, it's going to go up or down. OK. And then does it go by differential as well? Like point differential? Or is it just more games won? Well, kind of. It's a hard, weird little algorithm. So if you're, let's say, a 2.0 and you're playing a 5.0 and you get murdered, your duper rate's not going to go up. It's not going to go up. If you beat him, your rate will skyrocket. It all depends on how much you play and how much you win. If you win, your score is going to go up. But if you're playing against guys that are better than you, and let's just say you're playing a 4.0 and you're a 3.0, and you lose to that person by two points, your score is probably going to go up. Yeah, OK. Because essentially, this guy is supposed to beat you by a set amount of numbers. Right. And they did this, too, because back in the day when you play in tournaments, you could just pretty much rate yourself. So a guy that was 5.0 could come down and play as a 3.5. He'll win the whole tournament. So it kind of keeps things on a better playing field. So you can't play down. You can always play up. Yeah, you can go up. You want to be a 3.0, you can play 5.0. So you can't play down? No. No, so you can't play down in duper rating or age. And if you have a 4.0. No, I'm sorry. Sorry. You can't play down in duper rating, and you can't play up in age. So if you're, let's say, I'm 48 and my partner's 60. I can't play up into the 60s. He has to play down. Play down. OK, that makes sense. OK. I was going to say, if you're playing in doubles, whoever's duper is higher, too. So if you are 3.5 and he's a 4.2, you have to go up to the next rank. But it levels out. So it's really meant to here to help everybody. So anyway, this is awesome. So you're really here, though, to help people, right? Correct. So you're kind of giving me a little background. We were kind of talking about the story about chiropractors. I mean, I kind of go down that a little short. But tell us a little bit about that. Yeah. So with chiropractic, I mean, we're kind of pooped on in the medical community. But we earn it just like everybody else. So what we deal with is the nervous system. And that's where people's audience that you'll see on Instagram, Facebook. It's just like, oh, I'm here for the pop. I'm here to get popped. That's not what it is. That's not us. We're here to restore the nervous system. So everybody has a brain. Everybody has a spinal cord. Everybody has vertebrae. Not everyone has a vertebrae. I was going to say, I don't know if everybody has a vertebrae, but yeah. But if you have a spinal cord, you can get adjusted. So my personal story getting into chiropractic, I used to be on that physical therapy route in school. I worked at a PT clinic for two years, saw nobody getting better. Like those same people just coming in, oh, my knee hurts. My shoulder hurts. My back hurts. Then I was asking people just about like, oh, well, like, is there anything that you've done outside of here? And it's like, oh, yeah, I go to my chiropractor. I love my chiropractor. It's like, okay. I was lucky enough to be in a fraternity. And one of the guys that worked there, he would manage the house. He was a chiropractor. He does the Webster technique, which mainly deals with pregnant women. He's like, oh, come in and shadow me for a day. So I went in and watched him just watch all the people that he touched and the families that he impacted. It was amazing. It's like, well, I had back pain during my pregnancy and thought like this 10 out of 10 pain wasn't going to get any better. I'm cured now. I have three kids. I live happily with my family. I don't have any back pain. It's crazy. And I was telling you my story. I was in construction, bodybuilding, working out, moving stuff all the time. My back, I couldn't move. But they were telling me that doctors, I was going to have to have surgery. I went to a chiropractor. I'm telling you, the roller is the thing. And I still need to go in and get adjusted. But when I'm out on vacation, I take this roller and I roll on it and I can walk. It feels like I'm all better. Yeah. And that's the thing I was telling you earlier, too, is we're here to get to the direct cause. So when you get your degree, you end up with DC behind your name. So that goes to direct cause of the problem. That's what we work to do. So he gave you the tools. So when you're out on the road doing whatever, you're able to relieve that muscle tension. Now, adjustments. Yeah. People think like, oh, when you go to a chiropractor, you need to get adjusted for the rest of your life. Yeah, of course. You go to the dentist the rest of your life, right? You take your car in for maintenance. Why not do the same with your body, right? You only get one spine. You only get one spine. You only get one chance. So that's where people start to squander their chance, like not being active. So that's where keeping people playing pickleball, being active, that's going to help with the degeneration. So degeneration is when those discs start to get thin. When they get thin, they actually start to bulge and they'll actually hit the nerve and into the spinal cord. So that's where people need to be careful with age. Keeping active is the biggest thing. So that's where people are like, oh, I injured my knee and got a knee surgery. I haven't played since and now my back hurts. My knees hurt. Everything hurts. Yeah. So then they resort to surgery. They don't resort to conservative care. By then it's too late. So if we can get to that first cause, hey, I rolled my ankle and I don't want to be out. Let me go to my chiropractor. We can certainly help you with that. Now people think it's like, oh, we only deal with the back. No, we adjust knees, ankles, hips. We adjust everything. The neck thing always still freaks me out. Oh, yeah. Do you actually crack? Yeah. So it's called the manual adjustment. It's by hand. That's what chiropractic means. It means done by hand. But now with technology, we actually, in our clinic, we have something called the Pulse Star. There's similar technology called, not ChiroTouch, that's the platform we use, but the Pro Adjuster. So the doc I used to work for in Dallas, he had it too. And it's a computerized adjustment. It'll test the resistance of each segment. So it'll tell you what segments to adjust. So for people who are scared of the popping and cracking, it's perfect. Nice. It's really nice or like really light, really fast. Helps get those segments back into place. So really anybody can be adjusted. It feels good, but it's scary. That neck twisting thing is. Yeah. But it feels good. Well, anyway, for all our pickleballers out here, do you want to give a shout out or something to get them to come see you? And where are you located? Yeah. So we're in Greenwood Village near the Denver Tech Center off of East Orchard in Quebec. Our clinic number is 303-790-6000. So you can call to get on the schedule. We're a lot different than other chiropractic clinics. Most chiropractors are just them and one CA. We actually have four doctors. I'm one of four doctors in that clinic. And we have great CAs that work the front desk and very chatty. They catch up with you a lot. And you can go ahead, call them and get on the schedule. I'm Dr. Alex. We have Dr. Jim Canbites, Dr. Melanie Malone, and then Dr. Brian Zales as well. And we all do a great job. We all adjust each other. So. Well, he's been out here popping and cracking and making him feel better out here at the pickleball. We've been watching him. He's probably a little tired. I think he's overworked a little bit. A little bit. I was here on Friday. It was kind of a scorcher and it's starting to pick up today. So stay cool out there. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Get your foam roller and come see us at Canbites. Love it. Thank you. Thanks so much. Thank you. Perfect. Thank you. Thanks.
