Thank you for tuning in. I'm Greg. I'm Mike. And I'm Savannah. And we are the Pickleballers Next Door. Our course, your course. Thanks for tuning in. We are here this weekend at the Mountain Town Classic in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. What do you guys think so far of the tournament and everything? I just want to take a nap. It's so peaceful. I hear you. I know. I was thinking that for another reason. But then you're not playing, right? We're not playing, so we're watching, but it's just so peaceful here. You just want to have a hammock, right? And just sit there and watch pickleball all day. You really do. I mean, it just hypnotizes you and it's just beautiful here. The weather has been outstanding. Today, it seems kind of hot, but it's only 77 degrees. Really? It actually was chilly this morning, so when you're coming. And it does get down to 43 in the evening, so it's great. But tomorrow is supposed to be 82, and that's probably going to feel like 165. You're closer to the sun here. By 1,000 feet, Mike. I thought it was a lot higher. Oh, really? It's not that much higher? About 1,000 feet. Wow. I have a question for Greg real quick. How many holes on a pickleball? Outdoor. Forty-one. Oh, you were close. Forty. I just found that out. We're asking questions over here, and we found that out. Sorry. There are balls that have more and less. Franklin 40s, that's what they are. Franklin 40s. There's 40 holes. You were close. But there are other balls that are different. What's the purpose of more holes? The sound sounds better. I'm just joking. It allows the air to travel through it equally as much as possible. So just imagine the less holes, the more plastic. It's going to be slower. Oh, okay. That makes sense. Kind of like my shots. I was going to think, were we playing with indoor balls with you? No, that was outside. Just joking. So, Christana, have you watched any of the matches this weekend? Yes, I have. I have. Who have you seen? What have you seen? Do you have any questions? So I don't have all their names, but I definitely saw Niko and Kyle Yates, and I believe Katz from Babylon. Jared Katz. We saw him. So I don't know all the names. What questions do I have? Well, I want to call Jason kind of slinky, because you know Jason from the Steva? He is like moving. He's all the way to the ground when he's getting those balls. I'm like, wow. Well, you do need to get low. You do. Use your whole body. That's part of the thing. You'll make a better shot if you like, they always say bend your knees, whatever. But a lot of the shots you want to get under the ball, especially up at the net. And that's not me. I'm trying. I'm like, okay. Maybe you'll get there. It's just funny, though, because girls bend from the hip and guys bend from the knees. I don't know. I've seen guys bend from the hip, too. Well, there probably is. Sometimes I do. Yeah. Yeah. But that's a lazy day. But it'd probably be better. I'd be a better player, right? Yeah, the more you can get down and follow through with the ball, you're going to get more consistency with your whole ball. So what kind of exercise or how would I learn that? Just doing it. Drilling. Drill, drill, drill. Just being very, very aware and do it. And you'll see your shots improve, seriously. And on another note, I think I got to improve where I think, Mike, you saw that I don't reset. You don't reset. You have to reset. You don't reset yourself and you're moving as you're still trying to hit the ball. It's very difficult. So, yeah, when you return a serve and you're moving in, right before your opponent hits the ball, you want to stop and get ready to hit the ball. It's called the split step. Yeah. And that's harder to do than for me. It is. You just have to be very aware of it. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you need to be doing this. As that ball leaves and you've moved and you see that it's going to the other side, that's when you have to do it. If you're trying to do it when the ball is coming back, we're going at you because you are moving. You're going to miss it most likely. I'll tell you who Kyle Yates is. You just have to watch this guy play. He's phenomenal. I mean, honestly, he's just a champion. He's out there playing right now, I believe. He loves to play still, but the moves, the way he plays, it's just – and it's neat to watch how he plays with his opponents. Each one is different. He sizes them up and then he gets to where he knows where they're going and it's done. He's a pro. He is a pro. It's neat to watch. But what a great thing for these other guys to get to play with him or play against him. For sure. Anything else about this tournament that you're – Oh, it's just like I think Mike was saying. It's so peaceful. It's a great venue to be at. I mean, the courts outside. The place is gorgeous. Indoor courts. I mean, it's air-conditioned in there, which is really nice. Yeah, it's very nice. And we do have to say, last night at 2 a.m. or this morning at 2 a.m., there was a bear that came through Vendor Row. Yes. And it took a huge turd right behind our booth. It's still here. It's still here. So if you want fresh berries – Yes, fresh berries. Fresh berries, they're right here. Fermented berries at least. Well, and we had to pack – I mean, we were kind of like debating and packing everything up, not packing everything up. And they're like, there's a bear here. And I was kind of like, come on. Yeah. And then they showed this morning on the video there was a bear. It was a bear. He was cranking through here. And Ricky Santo. Oh, yeah. Tricky Ricky. His wife went out for a run this morning, gave him a call, and was like, you need to come get me. There's a bear. And so he goes out into the car, and he goes out to go to the car, and then she gets a call again and says, hold on. The bear's really close to you. And then he walked out of the hotel or whatever, and the bear was walking between his car. Yeah, the video. The bear was attacking the trash can. The trash can. Oh, wow. That's scary. It looked like he was wheeling it out to the curb. Right? Oh, that's funny. We got to look at that video. That's funny. Yeah. It's cute seeing the bear here. I mean, not cute. It's cute, huh? Because, yeah, he's like, da-da-da, you know, walking around. I got to tell you, it's pretty – it's really busy here. But you know what? The food and people are very nice. Oh. Yeah. And if you're ever up here in the summer on a Saturday, I think it's one of the best farmer markets I've ever been to. Did you go? Yeah, we were there this morning. They were setting it up. We didn't really go. Yeah. I've been to it multiple times. It's really good. Yeah. It looks like a great one. And I know the guy with the CBD – It would be a great place for a sweet soup. Yes. The guy with CBD said it was really good. The one with the salve. Salve. Salve. Salve. Salve. I don't know if I say it right or not. Salve. Salve. I guess it's better than the PBA. Yeah. PBA. Hey. PPA. Hey. I got it now. There you go. I'm getting smarter. I've been taking those pills. It's because it's on your shirt. If you look down, you'll know. You need to tell everybody. So while we're here, they're having a tennis tournament at the same time in the tennis dome that's on the other side of the pickleball courts. Tennis courts back up to the pickleball courts. So there's this whole tennis tournament, pickleball tournament. And then if you go out to the park that's just across the parking lot, they have this, they just set up a bunch of volleyball courts. I was worried about some throw down today because all this pickleball and tennis and we don't have pickleballers. Come on. Yeah, but we've had a lot of nice people. We've had a lot of them over and talk to us. I think they're adapted up here. Yeah. They are the oxygens. Are they just nice? Maybe steamboat people are nice. No people. Steamboat people are great. And I love meeting someone from steamboat for the first time while you're up here and it's always welcome to the boat. Yeah. I love it. I love it to death up here. Food is great. All the restaurants. Different things. Only thing you could use more air conditioning in the rooms. Yeah. Yeah. You don't have to tell me. I don't know. I don't. We were fine. I don't know when they pulled the straws, but I definitely got the short end of the stick. I'm sleeping on a bunk bed that I barely fit in. We're sorry. I have no windows in my room. Stagnant air. This is the coordinator. I'm not the coordinator. I'm the salesman. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. It's hotter. It's hotter. It's hotter in my room than it is out here at the pickleball courts. Come on. You're exaggerating. Am I? Have you walked in there? I am not exaggerating. No. I know you're not. No. It was hot. It is hot. It feels like he's cooking something. You can put an egg in there and try again. I have two fans on. I actually soaked a towel last night and laid it over me. Do we actually have the button that goes wah wah? Nope. We don't because it's not a wah wah. And only because it's a wah wah because, you know, I slept. Shit. I was going to go actually come down here and just sleep in the booth. Oh, you would have met the bear at two o'clock. I would have taken my chances. Yeah. He actually did come in our booth because we had a little opening and then the chair was kind of on the side. That's cool. I think he came and visited us and said hi. But that's why he didn't do anything else. He had some sweet sip and calmed him right down. Right? Yeah. That's why he was walking so nice and calm. Yeah. So calm. Yeah. He could have petted him. I don't think he would have ate anybody. He could have petted him. Put a collar on him and took him for a walk. Yeah. Well, you could have pet him then. I definitely could have. You know what? That would have been good. Yeah. So while we're up here and, you know, we're playing pickleball, the weather's great, you don't realize that you're sweating and all this other stuff. So you've got to hydrate. You've got to hydrate up here. You do. Yes. And who would you hydrate with? That's where Holy comes in. Yes. Holy. Holyperformance.com. They're handing them out to the players. It's just a great drink. Yeah. It's great flavor. Not too salty. I know that we've heard testimony of people that play in tournaments and typically get cramps. And once they're using Holy, they don't get those cramps they typically get. Yeah. Pretty good. Pretty good. Yeah. Well, and then also Holy, if you want to get a little, need to wake up a little bit before your game, they've got the pregame. Yeah. They have a whole series. A whole series. So they have everything. They have a whole series during game. It tastes good too. It's a pregame during game. They call it in-game hydration. In-game. And then they have after game hydration. Yeah. The flavors are phenomenal. Very good. And Austin's great. We've dealt with Austin, you know, from Colorado. I haven't met the other owners, but, you know, it sounds like they're great people. They're great people. Yeah. So, so go to holyperformance.com. Get your Holy hydration. Oh, and they're in stick packs, so they're nice because you can just put them in your backpack. You may have said that before. Actually, they're actually, that's part of the prize when you, if you win a medal here, you're getting a whole bag of Holy. Holy packet. Holy. It's a whole lot of good. Holy bag. Yep. So also listeners out there, keep in tune because we're going to actually possibly giving away an experience up here, which you'll come with food. Yeah. Working on details. Yeah. We're working on the details and send a couple of people, a couple or one, depending on whatever you want to do. Come up with your dog. Doesn't matter. But you're going to get an experience here with a, what they've here, they've told us they're going to give us a training and a court. Yeah. Coaching in a court. And then we're, we're going to talk to you about some food and a place to stay. Heck yeah. Yeah. That's quite dog friendly. Very dog friendly. You know, which is a great thing to know too. Yeah. And then if you come up on Saturday during the summer, then you have that a street fair, which is freaking amazing. Amazing. Yeah. Yeah. And you won't go hungry here. It's very good food. No. I mean, everything we've had has been good. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. So thanks for tuning in. Thank you. And we'll, we'll be back with more later. Thanks guys. Thank you. Bye. All right. All right. We're here with Allie and I do not know how to pronounce your last name Allie. I'm married an Iranian guy. It's Hasrati. It could be Maserati if we just add a name. I like that. I like it. It sounds sexy either way. Sounds sporty. It does. Sexy, sporty. So congratulations. Thank you. Yeah. Allie just won the 4.0 women's singles. Yeah. 4.5. Yeah. Yeah. Hell yeah. Those were some good games. I was watching. It was a battle. It was a battle. Yes. Absolutely. So tell me how you got into pickleball. That's a good question. So I'm a tennis convert. I was a snotty tennis player for a long time. It's okay. You're not now. You're one of those. You're with us. I'm one of those. But then I was a tennis teaching pro for a long time, but moved to Colorado about two and a half years ago. From? Arizona. Okay. And joined Lifetime and got super into the pickleball scene because there was no good, there was 10 5.0s in Colorado Springs. So I got bored of playing the same people in tennis all the time. So I joined Lifetime and got super into the pickleball scene because there was no good, there was 10 5.0s in Colorado Springs. I know you're in Colorado Springs and tell us where you're at in Colorado Springs. Yeah. So I'm one of the teaching pros at Peak Pickleball. It's the largest privately owned indoor facility in the country. How many courts? 24 indoor courts. Woo. Indoor. Two levels. Two levels. It's an old Burlington Coat Factory. Nice. It's now a really fun place to hang out and play pickleball. That's cool. I need to get down there. Yes. I haven't seen it either. I've heard all about this place. It's amazing. It's so cool. They have a really great vision and we're really friendly to beginners and intermediate and getting people just on the court. Nick came up with an organization, an intro class called Peak University and it gets people in the door. They get a free intro class and then they can sign up for 101, 102, 103 classes for dinking, dropping, driving just to get some confidence to get out there and make friends. That really helps. Awesome. Awesome. It's really cool. Yeah. So a question I love to ask. Sure. Your favorite venue that you've played in the world besides Peak. Besides Peak. I would honestly say Steamboat. Nick and I came here. It was our first out of town Springs Tournament last year and we got silver or bronze. I don't know. They've blended a lot of ages and stages. Who knows? I don't remember. We got a bid to the PPA World Championships, which is amazing, but we came in and we're friends now so I'll say it. We upset the incoming pros like Courtney Zielinski and the other. Nice. They came in and she's so lovely and so fun. They were like, oh, who are these hoodlums from Colorado Springs? No one. We were watching and then we upset them and so it was like the happiest moment. That was on court 10. So I have a very good memory. That was on court 10. I have a good memory. I have a happy moment. The time, everything. That's hilarious. That's hilarious. So what does your future look like in pickleball? Where do you want to go? Where do you want to end up? Oh, that's such a good question. I want to keep going as far as I can. People always ask why I converted from tennis and I said, I'll never be as good as I was when I was 19 in tennis. Oh, who will? Who will? No one is, but I love pickleball because I keep learning and growing and learning new shots and learning new strategies. And I just love that even like the highest level of this game, like there's always things to master. There's always new strategies to implement and it's just, it's such a fun and it's the best community. So I want to keep going. We have a few PPA qualifiers coming up and just keep going, keep grinding away. Well, you, you play, you can tell that you play tennis and pickleball, but tennis players make great pickleballers. We do. You really do. Once in a while. The single strategy is a bit different. I have to, I had to work on mine. I loved watching you. The funniest part watching you was you talking to yourself like, what is going on with me? It was the funniest part of the conversation that happened within time. She went back to get to her stuff. Yeah. I love that stuff. Yeah. It's so good. You gotta be your own hype girl. But you're nicer to yourself than I am to myself. Really? I'm pretty brutal. That was a pretty good conversation. She was. It's funny. But the play, she got right back on it, was going. It was beautiful play. I mean, you're on it. I mean, do you know how to move it? And you hit that ball with some power too. I try to. If you hit 5'10", I gotta hit a little hard. I get my people down. I gotta hit hard. I love it. Do you do doubles too or just singles? Yes. I do way more doubles. And with your husband? Oh goodness, no. I'm very anti playing with people that you're married to. Hard lady. Well, they call it the divorce line for a reason. No, Nick Patterson and I play doubles and travel all over the country playing together. He's a head pick pickleball. We have two loving, supportive spouses who let us do this together. Very smart. That's me, yeah. And then I love having this steamboat. My girl's partner, Noelle, and I play here. So we just started playing together. I watched her play the other day. I watched them all play yesterday. Noelle? The both of them? Yeah. Holy hell. She hits the piss out of the ball. I asked the boys. I was like, have y'all ever had to play this hard against girls? And they're like, no. We've never had to play this hard. That's great. No, I think you guys beat them three out of four games. I think, right? We didn't win a game, unfortunately. You didn't? Oh, I thought you guys won. But I body bagged Nick like five times. That's more important. That's all I remember. That's what Greg likes to do. Yeah. My license plate is body baggers. That's amazing. We're going to be best friends. I love that. Yeah. That's real friendship if you can body bag each other. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I got my friend yesterday three times. That's good. That's tight. He does his mom, right? You hate your mom. No, I had nasty Nelson, my mom. Oh. Okay. You know what? I actually nasty Nelsoned her on her birthday. Oh, happy birthday, mom. That's what I said. I was like, happy birthday. And she looks at me like, you fucker. Yeah. She brought you into this world and that's a good thing. And she can't take me out. Especially in pickleball. Well, she could. I think she could take you out. Not anymore. I'll suplex her. We love having people like yourself in pickleball. Especially that you're not only doing it for yourself, but you do it for others. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then you're showing up in the pickleball. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you don't do it for other people. That's awesome. It's the best. It's the sweetest community. And Nick and I were sponsored with Komodo out of Grand Junction. Mm-hmm. So it's like, even cooler to support Colorado brands and make all these Colorado connections. That's really great. Yeah. That's awesome. So any tournaments coming up? I mean, you said qualifiers. Where? Yeah. We're gonna do TPA Vegas. Okay. Oh, that'll be fun. Because even this is like the coolest story. All of, we have incredible clients. So even for this tournament, one of my clients sponsored us, gave us $1,000 last week. That's so nice. Damn. That's awesome. Go win and go enjoy. And just don't worry about any expenses, any registration. That's great. So that's incredible. And then I have another one who's found, who loves to gamble. And she's got us two conf rooms to go to Vegas next, at the end of August, to compete at the TPA. That'll be good. Awesome. Yeah. So I know it's been really sweet. We'll talk afterwards, because we have an idea we want to take care of. Oh, yeah. And we qualified for world championships in Dallas. So we're heading there in November. Shit. Hell yeah. Let's go. Let's go. I'm so excited. Yeah. We're so excited. That was such a fun venue. Social medias. Yeah. Where can they get you? Allie has ratty on Instagram. I love it. That's good. Simple. She's already followed us on. I do. I follow the podcast. Thank you. Thank you. That is so good. Yay. I love supporting Colorado Pickleball. It's the best. Definitely. So yeah, we're here. If you need anything, hit us up. I am going to come down. Please do. And I want a body bag. I'd love to go down. I always tell boys you can, but I'll hit you back harder. Yes. You know what? If you give it, you got to take it. Yes. She means it. If you give it, you got to take it. Absolutely. Yeah. Allie, thank you so much. And congratulations on your first place tonight. Thank you. Yeah. Awesome. Yeah. Thanks for coming. Later in the week. Yes. Love it. Definitely. Thank you so much. Thank you. All right. Thank you. Bye. Mountain Town Classic in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We're here with Jason. And tell us about what you do here, Jason, at Steamboat Pickleball Tennis slash whatever else club it is here. Yeah. Yeah. My name's Jason Harris. I'm the director of Pickleball here at the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Center. Nice. What a place you have here. Thanks. This is nice. It's beautiful. It's so nice. You just need some cots out here, though. It's so relaxing that you need some cots. Yeah. That's not a bad idea. That's how you're playing on the course. We could play on five bucks an hour. Yeah. Sleep in the parking lot. Yeah. There you go. Hammocks. Hammocks. Hammock. Right? Hang in. I like it. I like it. So how did you get involved with the Pickleball Club here? Yeah. So I was in Winter Park, Colorado, for about seven years and was working and then took some time off of work and started playing Pickleball a lot. And so there wasn't a lot of Pickleball in Winter Park, so I could either go to Denver or Steamboat to play. Wow. That's a long drive. They were both an hour and a half, pretty much. Wow. Right? And just got plugged into a really great group in Steamboat of some nice people and good players. And so my wife and I, it was like our excuse to leave. And so we'd come and hang out in Steamboat, play Pickleball for the day. The best kind of excuse to leave. Oh, yes. And this place is awesome. I mean, who doesn't want to live here? Yeah. It's not bad. Yeah. It's not too bad. Everyone here is pretty friendly, I've noticed. It's a great community. They are. Yeah. So we were drawn into that, just the community. And then it was kind of unique because Pickleball was a pretty big deal here in a small town and that kind of caught my attention. So that was about three years ago and I talked to some of the people that were working here and they wanted to create a Pickleball building specific to Pickleball. Now this had to be a little bit of a fight because you know the Pickleball and tennis thing is a rough situation. Yeah. I mean, it's kind of a touchy subject for everyone, but there was something unique where people were open to it. Okay. You know, the people, the Steamboat community was open to it. And Steamboat has a long history of a strong tennis community, and there was a local association that was passionate about Pickleball and they kind of came along and said, let's do this thing. We went out and actually just got donations from people to build this thing. That is awesome. Yeah. We see the signs on each of the courts. Yeah. You have to tell me though, when you put tape on the courts out here, I've heard this is where the Pickleball started back behind us in the indoor. That could have went well, right? It wasn't all pleasant. I can imagine. I can imagine. Yeah. How long have you been open here? So we finished the eight outdoor courts two summers ago. So the summer of 23. Wow. So it's pretty fresh. Yeah. We finished the 12 indoor courts last summer. How nice it is in there. You keep that cold too. That is nice. Yeah. So there's a total of 20 courts here, correct? That's right. Yeah. Pickleball courts. And then how many tennis courts? We've got six outdoor tennis and six indoor tennis. Wow. Yeah. So 12. Yeah. But they take so much more room. I mean, they take- They do, and they don't get used as much. Let's be honest. Don't worry. There's not a lot of tennis players that listen to this part. Okay. No. Yeah. We've been blown away. I love playing pickleball here. It's unique because in the winter, people come to ski and then there's nothing to do in the evenings. Oh, yes. So this is big. Indoors. Yeah. Yeah. It's a great indoor spot to come play. Yeah. That's nice. And so we just kind of started doing tournaments here. Right. We did some smaller scale ones last year and then the Mountain Town Classic. This is our biggest one here so far. Nice. What's coming up? I know you have something coming up. Yeah. We've got the Steamboat Open coming up Labor Day weekend, and it's a fundraiser tournament. So Stop All Timers Now is the beneficiary of it, and they're a big charity in the pickleball space at the professional level for pickleball and amateur as well. So they're coming up and they're going to put on a pretty sweet tournament. That sounds like a lot of fun. Yeah. Future plans for this place? Well, I mean, honestly, we grew a little faster than we thought. So there's a ton of people playing pickleball here. I thought it'd be maybe a couple of years before we really got going. So honestly, we're really happy with the usage right now. But a big goal, I was just talking to the Rocky Mountain Championship guys, and we were saying, why don't we try and blow this thing out of the water? So we've got about 250 people playing this year, but I don't see why we couldn't have 500, 600, 700 people up here. Easy. Oh, easy on that one. It's not that far. It's a beautiful drive. It's a beautiful place to stay. It's reasonable, too, really, honestly. There's an airport here, too, which is kind of nice. Oh, yeah. You could fly right in. Yeah. From Denver Airport. Yeah. Yeah. So fly in from everywhere. Do I hear that there's going to be more tape going out here? I don't know. Maybe. I mean, if you have 500 or 600 people here, yes. I could be convinced. I can make some people mad for a weekend if I need to. Yes. You just take over that other building. Exactly. Yeah. Now, that would be probably making some people mad. Yeah. Whatever. But what a life, huh? Is this the ultimate dream for you? I mean, so I love to ski, and I love to play pickleball. And when you get to do that in the same day, it's pretty special. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. There's not a lot of places that you can do that in the same day. No. No. And it's unique, right? So the town of Steamboat owns this property here. We're pretty much at the base of the ski resort. So the main parking lot is, you know... Is where the guy... Right behind the tennis courts. Right behind us. So you park there, and you go ski, and then you come back, and you play pickleball, and you drive your car, and go... Great exposure. Yeah. Come on. So the town gave us the land. Wow. Wow. That's really good. It's a dollar a year. Otherwise, it'd be a parking lot, right? Exactly. Yeah. So the town has actually been a huge help to make this work. When you have them on your side, it just makes everything so much easier. Exactly. And then you got food. You got everything right here. I mean, everything's right here. Yeah. I mean, even we were at... I went with her. It was a windy road that we stayed at. Yeah. But we came down. There's the pickleball courts. Yeah. It was awesome. We're 10 minutes away up the hill there. Yeah. Nice. But we ate breakfast this morning at the Drunken Onion. Yeah. Those breakfast burritos are dang good. They are good. Yeah. All the other food looks good, too. It is. I mean... Taco Cabo. That's the best-kept secret in town. Oh, we just heard about that. Taco Cabo. Weekend breakfast burritos. Go there. Really? Weekend only. And I'm sure their tacos are pretty good, too. No, no, no. Breakfast burritos. That's what I'm here for. Yeah. I love breakfast burritos. So do you get to play still quite a bit, even though you're running? I mean, this is a lot of work, I'm sure. Yeah. So I love playing pickleball. And when I moved to Steamboat for this job, kind of my one caveat was, like, I still need to play pickleball and enjoy it. I love it. Yeah. And so that was a big thing for me, is it's a job, but it's also a passion of mine. And so I try and do a tournament, you know, every other month or so. Nice. Whether it's a local one or one of the PPA ones. It's cool to see what other people are doing and see other facilities. What level do you play at? So when I do the PPA events, I do qualifiers. Nice. Oh, nice. Okay, okay. We're talking some high-level play-in. I didn't say I qualify. I play in the qualifiers. That's all right, though. To get there is tough. Yeah. No, it's fun. The level is rising. Yeah. Really fast. Okay, so besides here in Steamboat, what's your favorite pickleball venue that you've played at so far? San Clemente Lifetime. Oh, there we go. Hands down. Yes. I know exactly what you're talking about. Have you been there? I've been there, yes. Okay. I grew up in Mission Bayho. Oh, yeah. Right on the street. Yeah. Well, actually, now that I say that, in Baja Los Griles, Palmas, they just put in 24 courts right on the water. Yeah. Oh, my God. I haven't. I've heard about it. Have you played there? I have. Oh, nice. That might be better than San Clemente, actually. Damn. If you get the chance. You got it. That sounds outstanding. It's awesome. San Clemente just has its own... It's just its vibe there, right? The surfers, the food. Wahoo's taco started there. I mean, it's just got a vibe. You just have to love it. Yeah. Yeah. It's awesome. Damn. Yeah, that sounds awesome. If people are looking to come up to Steamboat and play, where can they find you guys? Instagram, emails, websites, whatever. Yeah. So, we use Court Reserve for our reservation system, which a lot of facilities do. So, hop on Court Reserve. You can find us there, Bucket Court. And then you can jump on our website, too, SteamboatTennisandPickleball.com. And yeah, we're on all the socials, as well. Yeah. This is a great place. It's a beautiful place. I mean, yeah. We, like I said, put some cots here, and it's perfect. Cool pro shop. Great court. Cool pro shop. Right? Yes. And then you have Steamboat Pickleball-related swag, no? That's right. Yeah. All right. Yeah. The boat. It's the boat. The boat. I love that. I love that. It's what the locals call it. Yes. I've noticed. You go into the bars, and you start talking to someone, and they're like, hey, welcome to the boat. And I'm like, hell yeah. I love this. This is so nice. I've lived here all my life, and I've never been to Steamboat. Oh, wow. Yeah. I'm a native. And beautiful Steamboat. Yeah. I love the hippie hot springs. Yes. Have you been there? I have. It's free. It's the hot spring that just runs into the river. Yeah. Yeah. It's nice. It's really nice. I've never been there. Is it nice? It's nice. Yeah. Yeah. So you've got that one, and then you've got Strawberry up the hill. Yeah. And then the one that's downtown. And then the downtown hot springs. That's new. Yeah. Yeah. They just did a big remodel on it. It's super nice. Is that the one with the other club just driving down the street here? Yeah. Yeah. On the right? Yeah. All right. Well, thank you so much for coming on. We really appreciate it. Thanks for hosting the tournament. This is awesome. Thank you. I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend. Yeah. You've done a great job. Yeah. Thanks for being here. Yeah. Thanks for bringing us here. Absolutely. I mean, without you, there might not be Pickleball here. Right? I love it. Well, thank you. That's generous. Thank you. Have a great day. Thanks, man. All right. Thank you. I just want to say thank you to A Sweet Sip for supporting the podcast.
