Thank you for tuning in. I'm Greg. I'm Mike. And I'm Christana. Your court is our court. Thank you for tuning in. How have you been, Mike? What's been going on? You know me, I'm always a step ahead but a step behind. I've been angering everybody. You have been a crazy man. You've been really busy. I've been busy but it's like I can't make anybody happy right now. My pickleball is my happy place. Mike. M-I-A. Mike in action. That's it. Not missing in action. Well, that too sometimes. Sometimes. When you're on the pickleball court, right? When I'm on the pickleball court, I'm gone. Yeah, missing in action. Same, same, same. What have you been up to, Christana? You know what? I've been doing a little traveling just for different things. But I've been playing pickleball, learning how to play, trying to learn. So when you travel, do you take your pickleball paddle? So. Why not? It's the last time I did not. Yes. Because I should have. Because we went to Tennessee and I guess it's really big and Franklin, Tennessee. Yeah. And we should have went. Interesting. Yeah. It was good. It was only a short trip though. So I didn't have a lot of time. It doesn't matter. I always, always, always take my stuff with me no matter where I go. It's a beginner mistake. Yeah. It's a 2.0. It's a 2.0 at best mistake for sure. That is. Yeah, that's it. That's a rookie, rookie mistake. I just went to Branson for 4th of July to see my daughter. My paddles in there. It's shoving in there somewhere. I'll put it in my back of my shirt. It's calm. It's coming with me next time. I went, I went for, um, our nieces graduation in Fresno, which if you've ever been to Fresno, there's a reason that no was in the name because hell no. Um, but I found some places to play out there and I played once, but I almost didn't play at all. It was hot. Yeah. Hot, hot. Oh, go to Missouri. Well, you, you, you're playing. Yeah. You played there, but I'm telling you, I've never, I could ring my shirt out three times and there's a ring of puddle in Missouri. Mike, I sweat through my shoes. Oh my God. Like I was walking up the, up the, up the court. I was walking from the baseline. I was walking from the baseline to the kitchen line and I was kind of slipping. So I looked back like, what the heck is that? It was my footprints. Well, we had to go out to eat. So I sneak off early in the morning cause they're still sleeping and I go to the pickleball courts, but they want to go to breakfast, right? Yeah. It looks like I peed myself. Of course. You ever have that experience? Have you had that experience? You know what? I actually haven't had that experience. We're not talking about peeing. That's another episode. But my grandchild was like, did you have an accident? Peep up. I said, no, I sweated. It was, it was so hot and humid there that I wore three wristbands and you know, those little, uh, the fabric hair bands, you know, I put two of those on the handle of my paddle and I still sweat through everything. That's amazing. It's crazy. It's wild. That's why we have come. Aren't we going to Missouri? We're going to Missouri, but we're going to be indoors. Okay. Yeah. We'll go outside. No, we're actually going outside. Oh, yeah, we will. We're going to go to the char bar and we're going to go to the chicken and pickle and I want to do that tour. Yeah, I do too. But I also want to hit up a couple other courts. Yeah. Yeah. We went there last time and of course they were from Alaska, right? The people we met? No, they were from St. Louis, St. Louis. They happened to be vacationing there and they hit me up and we went and played. It was fun. That was a weird court. It was like angled. We were hitting drives on one side and I was like, this feels uphill. And then you stand to the side and you're like, yeah, it is uphill. It is uphill. Yeah. And everything you hit from the other side went out because it was downhill. It was really weird, but it was a, it was a cool little facility. It was nice. Yeah. It was busy. I was in the middle of the day. Absolutely. So I need to bring my paddle. Yeah. And you're going to look like you're peeing yourself. Well, I don't know. I have my little skirts on, so I don't think you guys can tell. Oh, you're going to tell them to make fun of us. Unless it runs down your leg, right? Oh, it won't. And then it makes them sweat and you won't know. But I'm just going to wear the under the sweat into that. So how has your journey into pickleball gone? It's actually really good. It's, um, you know, meeting a lot of people going to different places, um, kind of just playing like we did open. I went to, um, South Suburban and, uh, with Dave, my husband and a couple of friends and we did an open play on a Tuesday that was really fun. They were better than South Suburban. Where's that? Um, it was over off of a university and Arapaho. It's the old ice skating rink. Oh, I've been there. So it was four courts indoors. No, more than four. Oh, well, last time I was there was only four. Yeah. I guess it was, um, they were going to cut it. I guess they were going to tear it down and then they ended up doing the pickleball. So I snuck over to the other side. Is there another side? There's two sides anymore. So I snuck over to the other side and it's an old ice rink. Yeah. And, uh, it was just dirt. Like the ice rink was dirt. So maybe they did. Maybe, I mean, this was over a year ago, so I don't know. Well, and I know why she has good footwork now. She's a little cowboy, a little dancer. Yeah. That's her thing. So do you have questions? Do you have like, what is your, yeah. Okay. Go ahead. Um, the one question is I, I'm not still sure on the, um, Nelson thing. Nasty Nelson. Nasty Nelson. So explain that to me. Okay. So you and Dave are playing together. Okay. Having a good time. Yeah. But is it one-on-one? No, no doubles. Doubles. Okay. Together. Not against each other. Okay. We're playing together. Yeah. You're playing doubles together. Okay. Just for, so I can explain this. Yeah. So you are forward, right? You're at the kitchen line. Dave's receiving the serve. And you're waiting. You're at the front line. You look lost right now. I am lost because I'm looking outside here at the pickle and I'm trying to picture myself out there. So you're going to be on the receiving side. So on the receiving side, you're going to have Dave on the back and you're going to be on the receiving side that's not serving. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Yes. Okay. Okay. And I'm forward. You're forward. Oh, okay. Dave is receiving the serve. Okay. Okay. The person serving the ball is directly in front of you because they have to serve cross court. Okay. He serves the ball and hits you on purpose. That's a nasty Nelson. And so how does that count? Because you're not, you touch the ball, you touch the ball. So if he serves the ball to Dave and he serves it out and Dave catches it before it bounces, it's their point. Okay. So though I'm on the side, he has to hit the other side, right? That caddy corner. Correct. And I'm not there. Right. Because it hit you because it touched you. It didn't hit the court. You're not allowed to touch the first serve. So you're not, you're not allowed to grab, catch the ball if it's too far out. Okay. It has to bounce. Okay. Before you, before you call it out even. Right. Okay. So same thing applies. If it hits you and you're forward, it hasn't hit the court yet. And that's why it's a dirty Nelson. Nasty Nelson. Nasty. Oh, dirty. I got dirty there. Yeah. Nasty Nelson. Wow. Okay. That makes sense. Yeah. Now, so who would do that? Me. Him. And why would you do that? Would you, because you're playing and you want that last point? No, I do it. I do it because it's funny. Okay. And people don't, a lot of people don't expect it. Well, they're usually hypnotized over there. Usually hanging out, just waiting. Yeah. People kind of start to days off, like drift or whatever. And you just kind of hit them. Make sure they're awake. They wake up. They get really angry. And some people like to step off the court, but guess what? You can still nasty Nelson. I'm there. And why is that? Because I can hit the ball at you anywhere you are. It doesn't matter. It does not matter that first serve, if it hits you, you, and it hits you, anybody you've lost a point or yeah. So is this only on the first serve? No, it's on any serve. You can do it yourself. So you need to start trying it. Okay. Well, I'm waiting to see their face. Nobody's my friend. No. And this is what I said in etiquette was don't. I, that's why I didn't explain it either, but don't do it to people. You don't know. And, and, and don't do it to people you don't get along with because that will end up in throwing hands. Yeah. It'll end up in throwing hands a hundred percent. Okay. I did it just a week ago. I was out Apex. It was an accident. The wind was blowing. So I was kind of trying to overcorrect it. Right. And it wasn't lucky. It wasn't a hard serve. I served pretty hard and it just hit her in the chest. And then she goes, he smiles like our point. I said, well, I hate to tell you this, but that was our point. And after that, it got quiet. So, uh, I played against somebody in an open play. Um, and they nasty Nelson, my partner and he's laughing, ha ha ha, whatever, blah, blah, blah. I got them and one, I got them for the 11th point. Oh, that's the worst one. The worst one. They do that in the pros. They will serve seriously do it. If they're at that where it's really tied, they will do it. It happens, but it's not, it's weird. That's why it's called nasty. It's nasty. Right. Okay. Actually there was a pro who it's named after. Yeah. It's nasty. Okay. So that's, is his name Nelson? Yes. His name is not nasty. Maybe at night it is or something. Maybe. Yeah. But, um, but so what part of the game are you having a hard time with? I guess, um, trying to just, um, figure out where I'm hitting it. Right. Oh, I know. Okay. So when I'm playing and somebody like when you're, um, at the kitchen and you're going back and forth, when somebody comes at you with a hard ball, that's hard to hit back. So I don't watch the ball very much. I think I end up, you know what happens when you don't watch the ball, you don't hit the ball. No, but if, if you see, and you're at the kitchen line, if you see a ball go up, yeah. Take a couple of steps back. But okay. But you're not supposed to go back. Yes. On dinking and that kind of stuff. You're not supposed to, but if the ball's going up and you know, the guy's going to overhead smash back up and go down, it'll give you some room. And then when you hit the ball, then you move back up. Okay. So you can move there. There are times when you can move back, but don't stay back, move back, get the ball, start moving back forward. Yeah. So if you see a ball go up, give yourself a little room. Okay. Yeah. And then positioning, you know, always making sure when you're, um, when you are, you serve and you move up, right. You want to serve and move up. No, no. You want to serve and stay because you have to wait for that second bounce. Okay. When you, when you return, it's return and run. So you return the ball and then you run up. Okay. Yeah. That makes sense. Okay. Now, if you don't get there, the, the way that, you know, it's changed a lot when the ball goes across the net, you stop. So, you know, if you hit and you can get fast and you can get to the front, split stepping, split stepping. Yeah. So you want to split step. If you did ball, you just ran up, but you didn't, the ball already passed the net and they're ready to hit it. You don't want to be moving when they're hitting the ball back to you because you're a target. You on the move, hitting a ball very rarely ends up well. No, it doesn't end up well at all. So, but she's doing really well. She's been coming out to Hilton and doing some of the fun, the classes out there. That is fun. And it helps with other people that are either, you know, at the stage you are better. It does help a lot. Absolutely. And I joke 2.0 at best, but I mean, you're improving and you're going to, you're going to 0.1. You're improving. And I'm just, it's just joking. I think, I think you're, you're going to take him in time. You'll be good. You'll be, you'll be okay. In time. So, you know what? There's always hope 2.0 at best now. And in time you'll be decent. It's a funny part is when girls get girls get good at pick a ball. They're good. Like they have this, it's just, I've, I know you've experienced and played with some really high end ladies, you know, and I have, it's a different play, you know, I mean, they, they can control the ball, but they have the power, but they can, they have this finesse about it. It's really wild. A lot of two-ways. Yeah. Yeah. You know what a two-way is? No. Two-handed backhand. Yeah. That's their power. I can't do that. I can't either. I feel like I have T-Rex. Yeah. I don't do well with it. And you know what I'm not doing? And I, because I know I'm getting like tennis elbow, right? Is I'm not, you're not swinging with your shoulder and you're over squeezing the pad. Yes. Yes. Lighten up the GI Joe grip. Okay. It's just, I want to just hit that thing and you don't have to. No, it's not about hard and that's, and, and, and not even talking trash. That's lower level. Yeah. And that, that is lower level. That's me. Smash, smash, smash, smash, banging. Right. Yeah. I mean, you got, I, I, I see, I watch you guys like the finesse that you guys have and you hardly even touch that ball. So that's how you just got to get that feel. Yeah. And that's what people don't realize is it doesn't take much. Now there's a girl that the one girl that won, she was, she's playing here tonight with us. I mean, she hit a hard ball, but it didn't look like she was trying to hit it hard at all, but it was timing. It's also timing as the ball comes through and you're following through the ball. The body is going through the ball. It's not one part of the body. If you try to muscle it, you don't get nothing. You would get a bad ball. Yeah. And just think hip to nip. So you're, when you swing the paddle, it goes hip to nip, hip to nipple. That's it. That's, that's the biggest swing you ever want to really take. Okay. Hip to nip. Okay. And it'll cross your body forward, whatever. You don't ever really want to, you don't want to go way back. You should never go way forward. You're just going to put the ball through a wall. Just relax. Stay calm. That's actually, I think that's the biggest still is you get nervous. Yeah. It's huge. And when people are driving at you, yes, you just need to be calm and just block. That's it. Yeah. Because we did play. So I played a guy at that open and this guy had a great serve. It was like, and it was fast, low into the corn to the corner of the, um, of the court. And I'm like, I dig hit a couple of times back, but how do you get those? You move back. You just step back. You just got to take your time to get low. That's the bad part is dude, you want to stand up. You have to get down. You have to back up and take your time. Are we talking about a serve? Yeah. She's talking about a hard serve. Yeah. If you see someone serving hard, yeah. Back up off the base. Okay. I always, if I'm playing somebody that I know that serves hard, I'm like three feet off the baseline. Yeah. Cause you can move forward. It's harder to move backwards. Yeah. If you jam yourself, you're going to fee, it's going to feel like this crazy serve because it's jamming you and you're going to usually mess it up, back up the ball. Has any spin or anything? You're going to be able to get it. So cool. We'll get better, but you will, you will get better. We all get, we'll get better. Well, I, yeah, I have more to go though. But how about you, mister? We're getting ready. You're getting ready to get out of here. Yeah. I'm in the process of selling the house and doing van life. You're the, you're our man on the road. It's finally happened. Yeah. So I'm the roadie. I would be on the road playing pickleball off the grid. Yeah. Some of the time, where are you going to start? No idea. Just going to go. We're just going to end up, we have a couple of things in mind, but pickleball is always on the mind. Me and my wife's trips, we call them the gypsy trips. We'll just fly somewhere and land somewhere and not have hotels or nothing and just go. And it's the funnest trip you ever have. It's those ones. When you over plan things, it's horrible. That was pickle con last year. Yeah, we were right there. We're lucky we didn't sleep in the car. I think I'm planning guys. I think we need to get a hotel. You are definitely are the planner. Yeah, you are. But I want to sleep somewhere like comfy in a bed, but I'm going to be hitting a bunch of different courts all over the country. That's awesome. And we'll be doing podcasts. Yeah. So that's the plan. I love it. If you see me out there. Yeah. Come say hi. Yeah. It's hard to miss. You'll know him. Yeah. I'm not. I'm a little guy. No personality. Yeah. He sits in the corner. He doesn't talk to very many people. Just mumble to myself. Yeah, I know. Yeah. Yeah. We're we're really excited. I mean, I think that's our we want to all go. But, you know, it's just where how life is. And then we'll meet places. Oh, yeah. Oh, we're. Yeah, we're. The eventual goal of this is with all of us traveling. Yeah, it'd be fun. Wouldn't it be fun if we were all like traveling and we were all in different places and we were playing pickleball. So, yeah, we could. Yeah. Yes. Let's do it. Let's do it. Well, you're doing it first. You're going to show us how it goes. I'll show you how I do all the motorhome sponsors out there. You're hearing this. We're going to be traveling. So we could use you as a sponsor. Heck, yeah. Let's do it. Are you going to come back to Colorado? Oh, yeah. Of course. Family. His family. Yeah. Both of our families are here. OK. Yeah. And then leave again. Yeah. We'll leave again. Yeah. We're family. Yeah. Our families. Probably family. Yeah. So I'll be back. Be playing, doing some, you know, doing stuff here, family stuff and visiting and stuff. And then we'll be gone again. Next summer, we plan on going to Alaska. We're excited. Yeah. We're excited. Oh, yeah. That's how we started. That's where I started playing. Oh, no. So someone would listen to our podcast. Some of them have. Yeah. Yeah. Who listens to that? So just, you know, throwing it out there, October, South Utah, St. George. I think we need to be there. And that looks like a that's huge. It's a huge tournament. I have to look. But I know a lot of people coming down from Alaska. And we have a lot of people from Colorado going to be there as well. It's only a 12 hour drive. No. Eight. No, it's less than 10. Yeah. OK. Yeah. About eight or nine hours because Vegas is 10. Then I know in September we're going to be going somewhere, too. We need to go there. Yeah. That'll be another Utah trip. Utah trip. Yeah. We're going. September. Yeah. We haven't told you about that. Yeah. I was about to tell you about that. But Grand Junction. No, no. That's all good. That's September. So we'll talk about that out there. But yeah, we will have we're going to we don't have exact dates that we don't want to really put things out there. But there's some neat things coming up. Absolutely. Always. We're doing something. Always. I mean, absolutely. We're going to be this weekend or next weekend. We're in Steamboat. Yep. Come see us. Come see us. Yeah. Where are we going to be? Rocky Mountain Championship for Steamboat. Yeah. It's called the Mountain Town Classic. Yes. Yeah. OK. That's why I'm looking at you. Help me. So thanks for tuning in. Thank you. We'll see you next week. Hey, thanks for tuning in. We're here today with Scott Weiss with Moment Pickleball. Hey, Scott, how you doing? I'm doing well. How are you? Amazing. So tell me a little bit about your company and how you guys came about. Yeah. Oh, well, that's just a wonderful question. Pickleball found me, I'd say, two and a half years ago, and I had no idea how much I was going to connect with the sport, meeting new friends and really finding a path for self self-reinvention. And not many months after that did I have my entrepreneurial gut telling me that the sport needs some training products. I agree. I totally agree. I mean, you know, we get out there and you get at the net and it's warm up. That's our warm up, which is the first thing that's bad. And then they're really, you know, if you want to go try to find some trainer, depends if you hope you have deep pockets and you can go do that. Now, Pickler has helped a little bit with that, but you still pay quite a bit a month to do something. So it's nice to have something that you can do on your own, too. I think that's some of the products you have. Yeah, I mean, the philosophy is that we're all trying to get better in the sport, regardless of how good we are. So if MoMA can come out with some products that's going to help us prepare for a tournament or open rec play at the convenience of being at home or with a friend, you know, we want to be available and provide something for people. What kind of training products do you have? Great question. I was just going to answer that. Good work. Well, we have a line of training balls. Three of our balls, they're all dual colored, yellow and black. And the goal behind the two color ball concept is it allows people to read the spin on a ball to help people understand a little bit of the trajectory of the ball. I love it. You gave me one at the YMCA. I was going to say, that was you. That was you. Exactly. When you said the black and white. Yeah. So that ball, it is really nice because you can see if you're putting topspin on it, you can slice it, dice it. It does everything. Exactly. And then once you have a good grasp on the spin, it actually creates a sensory overload. You're seeing the ball flick black and yellow quite a bit. And having a sensory overload actually conditions your brain and your body for a lot of stimulation. So when that extra stimulation is no longer present with a traditional yellow ball, it's actually much easier to see a normal spin. Well, and hand-eye coordination too. I love to use it to sit there and practice against the wall. That is just like that and not let it drop. So it's awesome. Exactly. Yeah. So two of our balls are probably a third of the normal size balls. And playing with somebody or against the wall requires very fast hands, but also it requires fast hands and a soft touch. And those two skills are usually developed separately. But with the training ball that we have, you have to have fast hands and a soft touch. Otherwise the ball is going to be hit too hard and away from you. So do you have like videos too, like that you could go watch and, you know, to learn how to use it or how do you know how to use it? Does it come with like instructions or? Yeah, we have some videos online and one of our sponsored athletes is a professional PPA pro, Zane Ford. He has some videos online and it's pretty self-explanatory in terms of using a ball against the wall. Yeah, I get it. You're right. I mean, it really is, but you never know. I mean, in this sport, there's so much, you never realize how much happens out there on a court. You know, you hit a ball when you first start, you don't know anything, but there's a lot that goes on as you start to level up. Yep, I totally agree. So what other kind of training products do you have? Do you have just the ball or is there, I know you probably have the videos and different things like that. Yeah. So we also have a mini training paddle. We call that the FTO, which is for training only. And obviously it's a much smaller paddle and it creates a need for you to be more precise with your, with your hits. It's a much smaller sweet spot. It's a sweet, sweet spot trainer. Yeah, essentially. Copy that. So we have that and we have a mindfulness journal as well to allow people to track their, their goals and reflect upon, upon their play dates. Nice. That's awesome. That's really good. Yeah. I like that. The journal, I like that. Yeah. Well, you make sure if you're not, if you need, when you know when to take a break, right? You're having an angry day. There's no water breaks in pickleball. What are you talking about? That's the one thing my issue is, is not hydrating and eating while I'm playing. Yes, I think, I think it's probably, and that has nothing to do with you, but if I journaled it, I'd be like, you're a dumbass. And I think our flagship product actually is the MW Pro, which is probably the best pickleball gear bag on the market. So we, we just love it. And whether you're a weekend player or whether you are traveling, uh, for on a trip, um, it's got enough room for multiple paddles and some, some clothing and it goes right above, um, your, your seat in an airplane. I'd love to take a look at that. Yes, we do. Yeah. I'd love to take a look at that. I want to look at 13 different zipper compartments. Nice. I'm a zipper fiend. We all are. When I just traveled and I had to use this tiny bag and it was horrible. Like I wasn't sure, you know, my other pickleball is too big. So yeah, if you've already made it for traveling, that's incredible. That's really awesome. We're real happy with it. And the market is very happy with it as well. Good. How long have you been doing this? Oh, I started moment pick a ball and the end of 2023. Okay. And then you started right after that with your business or nice. Nice. And where do you play mostly? Oh, I, I am agnostic. I will play everywhere and anywhere. I hear that. But recently, because I live, I live in Boulder, uh, relish, um, uh, food hall and pickleball had opened up and it's just a wonderful place to go. And it's, it's, it's an all day massive. It's just, it just makes sense. It's just, it's very, it's very roomy. Um, the food's great there. The staff is awesome. I'd love the soundproofing too. That's incredible. 19 courts going and you're like, is anybody playing? You can hear yourself say the score. Yes. Yeah. There's places that we play that it's like, what? There's not even music. Right? Yep. So, yeah, so I, I'm, I'm real happy with that, but if anybody wants to play anywhere else, I'm ready to go. Yeah. Uh, what, where's your favorite place to play today? In-state out of state, out of country in country. It doesn't matter. Oh, well I was, I was in Cancun a few, a few weeks ago. We played, we played down there. It was a couple of nights down there. Tell me where, because I was down there probably like six months ago. It was so sad. No, it wasn't even six months ago. And I found a place, I walked a mile and a half each way and it happened to be the hottest day ever known to man. No, not known to man. It was just one of the hottest days when I was down there. Humid. I get there. It's not open. It says it was open, but I don't even think it was open at all. It was still being built. And then I had to walk back and I got heat exhaustion and my day was wrecked. So tell me where you play. Well, I think there's 365 of those days there because it is extremely humid. That's true. Yeah. And it's just hot. So I mean, you can't really compare the playing there to here just because of the humidity. Right. Of course, you know, I was, I was near a resort. I forget, I forget the name, but it was, it was on the South side of Cancun. Was it busy? Was it? No, it wasn't busy. People are not going to Cancun to play. No, I get it. They're going for drinks and relaxation. I stayed at a resort that had two pickleball courts and I had to sneak onto them because they were locked and there was nobody there. Um, I, the place I found was across that main highway that runs from Cancun to Tulum and then up a little bit. There was a lot of soccer fields indoor. And then this pickleball place, it was a pickleball Padel place. Um, it looked like to me that it was sponsored by Adidas because there was a lot of Adidas logos actually painted on the courts. And I wish I could have played there, but it wasn't even open. Is that the place you played? No, no. It was at a resort. Oh, it was. Damn. Okay. I need, I need to find a place in Cancun to play. Okay. Because I've been down there three times and I have not found a place. Next time you're going, you're going, I'll go with you. I like it. I like it. We'll do a podcast there. Sounds like a plan. Yes. I like it. We'll do a moment sponsored tournament down there for the locals. Let's do it. That'd be amazing. Yeah, that'd be fun. So what are the plans for the future of moment? Oh, well right now we're in development on for two things. Actually, we're, we're going to develop a second bag. That's not going to be as, as large as the bank we have right now. More for the, for the weekend warrior. Instead of holding four paddles, it will hold two paddles. Okay. Um, and maybe not a separate shoe compartment, but still enough to put your, your everyday pickle, pickleball needs in there. I like the weekend warrior. That's good. Well, okay. So I know that that your bag that you have right now, I know it holds big shoes because Tony's, I saw his shoes in the bag and he's like six, six on a short day. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So he has big feet and I know that they fit and I have big feet, but I'm not tall. I'm not super tall. So that'd be great. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. So we're, we're working on the bag. And then, uh, one of the reasons why I brought Tony in is that we're going to be looking at, um, developing our own paddle. We are not rushing into the paddle, uh, uh, industry right away. And when we do, it's going to be the right, the right product, right offering, the right innovations, right functionality. And of course at the right price point. So I think there's a space out there. I think that, you know, there's going to be that level of there's a, there's a missed level in there of paddles. I feel, you know, it's either high or really low. And then there's some of this weird stuff in the between. And the market is very saturated with startup paddle companies. We got, yeah. Yeah. I mean the, the function of the paddle is going to be required before we worry about the form of it. Absolutely. Yeah. Quality, quality control. Yeah. You know, everybody that, that is involved with moment, we're all, we're all pickleball players. Yeah. We're all serious players. And so we have some good R and D available to us and everybody we know is going to get one of our paddles and they're going to give us some honest feedback. So that'd be amazing. Love it. How'd you come up with the name? Oh, well, well, because I like it. Yeah. I had developed during COVID an athletic balance board for mainly for ski racers. And I called it moment balance boards. And the concept behind moment was that whether it's life or skiing or some other sport there, something happens and you either, you either respond to it or you react to it. And if you condition that experience, responding to it is usually better. So if I'm, if I'm skiing and I fall out of balance, if, if I naturally overreact and tighten up, I'm probably going to have an issue. Maybe I'll crash. Yes. So same thing could be applied to pickleball. If there is a hard drive coming at me, right. I could tighten up, but that moment is there for me to respond, respond. I like it. What a great name. That's really good. We, uh, you know, we, some people, we ask their name and you're like, we threw some darts and we all, we all have those moments. So do you sell in any retail stores? Do you sell all online? Yes. So obviously we, we sell online. We have a Amazon store too, but we are very happy. Of course we sell through at relish as well. And our local partner is game set match. They've been wonderful. That's awesome. Yeah. And, um, where can people reach you or follow you? Instagram, Tik TOK, Facebook, whatever emails. Oh yeah, of course. I mean, just go to our website, a moment pickleball.com and same for Instagram at, at moment pickleball. And if you want to reach me through, through Instagram, we'll definitely respond right away. Amazing. It's amazing. Yeah, this is great. I mean, you know, you're on the right tracks. You don't see a lot of this though. You'd think you'd see more of this, but it's kind of good. It's good for you, right? Well, yeah, once you have an idea, I think it's important for you to, to do something with it. I think, um, not enough people go ahead with it. And I think once, once you go ahead, you realize that there was really nothing to be scared about. Failure can be reframed. You can learn from failure all the time. Yeah, absolutely. Once you, once you kind of get past that, it's, it's, it's a no brainer. And I absolutely endorse anybody going out on their own and pursuing their dreams. Nice. I'm very good. Nice. Well, we really appreciate you being on here. Yes. And we look forward to seeing what you have coming out in the future. Yeah. We'd like to see some more. We want to see the bag. I cannot wait to see that bag. I'll show you the bag right now. I love it. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Thank you guys. I just want to say thank you to A Sweet Sip for supporting the podcast.
