Episode Transcript

Thank you for joining me. I'm Mike. I'm Kris Anna. We're the Pickleballers Next Door. Good morning, Kris Anna. How are you doing today? Good morning, Mike. I'm doing good. A little early, huh? Yeah. I didn't get my beauty rest. I know. You know what's funny is you always can sleep in when you have to be somewhere. Isn't that the stupidest thing ever? But when I don't, I'm up at 3 in the morning, right? I know. Like, I won't set an alarm and I'll be like, oh, I can sleep in. Yay. But it's a good thing. We're here at the new third shot in Sheridan City. Sheridan, Colorado. Colorado. Whatever this is. And we're in the Riverpoint Shopping Center, which is by Target and Costco. All I know is I'm at Pickleball. Third shot. Yes. It's a new opening. What a nice place, huh? Oh, yeah. Beautiful courts. 16 of them, right? 16. Nice color. Really nice. I like the blue and the green. I think they were trying to get the outdoorsy kind of look and it really looks good. It's calming. It is kind of calming. We need that when we play against you, right? Yeah, because I'm so good. But, no, we're here today to help them with their grand opening. And we're going to bring some people over to talk to them. We're playing here. So it sounds like you played an open play. They have open play going all day. I think all the slots are actually booked, which is from 7 to 9. To 9 o'clock tonight, it is booked solid. Yes. The courts, there's never been a court here not moving since 6.30 this morning. Just a great place. I mean, they've done a great job. But you're going to hear some people. We're going to put them on the interview and just let them tell you what they think of it. Yeah, and hopefully we can get some of the owners to tell us what they. And then we met the guy that actually did all the build-out for all the third shots and actually peaked Pickleball. So maybe we can get, I think his name is George. Let's see if we can get George on. Yeah. Well, stay tuned. I'm going to go find one of the players that I played with this morning. And what's her name? Emily. Emily. Yeah. So you guys did good. We did good. We stayed on the court all the time. I think she actually held me up. Did she? Yeah, I'm going to go grab her really quick. Shout out to Emily. See you soon. Thanks. Bye. Okay, here we go. All right, Christana, look it. I have the player here at third shot, the grand opening, Emily. Hi, Emily. How are you? Hi. Nice to meet you guys. So I heard you carried him. She did. She did carry me. She has a beautiful double backhand. Oh, fun. And she said it's her favorite. Oh, my gosh. I don't think I carried him. I think we balanced each other out well. Good. Good. I think we started to read. Like, it took us a few to, like, get going. The last, I think, where I was a little tired. Yeah. I haven't had no water. We played, like, six or eight games in a row. And how it works is, right, you guys play until you lose. Yeah. Yeah. That's impressive. I was dripping off the side. It was a good workout. It was a very good workout. Yeah. Good partnership. That was really good. Yeah. Everyone plays a little bit differently. So it was hard to adapt. We had to adapt. Different styles. Get your jive. Some people just, like, slam it. We had the soft touch. We had a combo. Yeah. Like, it was a little of everything. Yep. But what a good player. So what do you think of the facility? It's amazing. It's huge. I was here for a lesson on Monday. Oh, nice. That Jeff and Ashley had. So I saw it one more time since this, but it's huge. Do you live around here? I live in, like, the Cherry Creek area. Okay. So it's kind of a drive, but it's not far. Not too bad. I mean, there's nothing. I think it's a good location. It's kind of neutral. Yeah. Because there's nothing, I mean. Easy to get to. Easy to get to. Yeah. I mean, at least there's parking, too. And I feel like a lot of people are moving down to this area. Like, we are kind of thinking about buying a house in Littleton area. Yeah. Oh, nice. So it'll be close by. Yeah. I mean, I love Dutch Brothers. I love Dutch Brothers. Yeah. He always has to get his food. My criteria for where I am. Yeah, right. Pickleball and coffee. And coffee. I mean, those are the two winners. Yeah. And they got a bar here, too. Yeah. You know? Bar and snacks and stuff. So give us how you got into pickleball. How did you get into this crazy sport that you can't stop? I started playing, like, outdoor at Clear Creek. Okay. Over in Arvada, just with some friends who had played before. And then I have a volleyball background. So it kind of came to me a little bit naturally. Like, reading the other players and positioning myself for defense. Yeah. Kind of working the same as volleyball. And then, like, overheads. Oh, your overheads. She just met me. Don't give me a bob. Oh, me, too. We were the hammers. Yeah. Like, once they released that, it was go. Yeah. It's going down. But really good angles. I mean, she's trying to tell me she's 3'5". And if she's 3'5", then I'm a freaking 6'0". Because she is really good. It was super good. How long have you been playing? About a year and a half. Oh, good. A year and a half. Yeah. I didn't start really getting into it until I started going to some of the indoor facilities. Because I had never heard of even, like, open play. Like, what is that? Playing with strangers. It's a weird concept. But once I started doing it, I was like, I love playing with new people. And you get to meet so many people, right? Yeah. It's a big community. Yeah. That's the fun part to be a part of. Now your husband's always sad. Where are you? Kick a ball. Basically. Does he play well? Does he play? He plays reluctantly. So you're better. That's what I'm hearing. A little bit. He doesn't want me to say that. But he would agree. Okay. So we're going to say, hubby, that Emily is better. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She does play well. She gets, she's right in there. Especially at the net. You do really well. Like, you, you don't. That was the lesson on Monday. It was good. Because you were angle, angle, angle. And you weren't letting them get around you. So it was really good. So it must have helped, right? In that lesson? Yeah, definitely. I'm not knowing when to hit it hard or when to just reset. I'm kind of working on that. Like, being a little bit smarter with how I play. And like, having that mental part of the game. It's very important. And that's the, that's the, really the next step into 4-0. Yeah. Is that reset. Like, calming down. Setting the ball for your next play. And I struck. You've seen how many I hit in the net today. I couldn't. Well, it would be like. Serving? No. We were at the net. Passing volleys. Yes. And they, and they would just. Hard players, soft players. Hard players, soft players. Yeah. We would have to adjust, like, the pressure that we put on the ball. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm a boomstick. So that thing's like, it's like a cannon when I hit the ball. That's true. You did well with the boomstick, though. I do. A lot of those usually fly out when I see people with them. But. I think I boomed it. I played so much that there's no more boom in my boomstick. So this was so fun. And so is this, this will be a place that you'll be here quite a, well. Yeah. Yeah, you probably already have a membership. You probably got times booked. Yeah. We shouldn't say that out loud, though. Her husband's going to hear it. Yeah. I told you. He knows. He's like, okay, when are you playing today? Like. That's okay. Get him in. Tell him, you know, it's always fun to be your husband at something too, you know? It is. It is. When I play with him, I got to like, you know, stop talking. Do you have patience? I do have patience, but I like to give him advice. And. Oh. It just kind of like messes him up. So I got to just keep my mouth shut and play when I play with him. And I'll be like. That's hard to do with your spouse. Yeah, very patient. Have you seen that third shot actually has a commercial. It's so funny. So they're coming in, the husband and wife are like, we're going to play. What a day. And then when they're leaving, like, that was your shot. Why did you. It was. It's just. Isn't it the truth? It's too funny. Yeah. Or it's a bad game. That ride home is a little quiet. Yeah. What do you want to eat? Nothing. I don't know. I'd be yelling. I don't know. Yeah. But well, like today, I never met you in my life. And today, me and you just had fun. We were laughing. Yeah. That's what's so great about that. Comes here. Yeah. Everywhere. We go. We travel. I mean, we've traveled in the United States. We hope we've opened up every club here in Colorado. And I just get to meet the greatest people like yourself. And especially fun people. We just had fun. Yeah. You know, then a day didn't. If we lost. The vibes are good. It is good. Yeah. But it was good having you on my team because it was even better. You didn't want her on the opposite team. No, no. She just had a. She just. I'm scared. You're going to move up really fast. Like, you're going to be at that next level. My goal for 2022. And then you may not be. She may not play with you anymore. I know. She's like, Mike, well, I'll try. I'll give you a lesson. It's 45 an hour. Yeah. Well, we thank you so much for being on. Anything you'd like to shout out to anybody? Say hello or anything. Say hi to my husband. All right. Hi, hubby. I made it. I'm on a plane. She's on her way out. I caught her. So she's late. This was my fault. He's not here today? No. Okay. No, he's waiting. He's sitting there like this. Mm-hmm. Well, I'm going to the Wheat Ridge location after this. For a game from 10 to 12. Oh, wow. That's fun. Yeah. All day, pickleball. All day. Yeah. And then we have date night in the evening. All right. You know what? That's important. You'll be nice and tired. Yeah. You're like, yeah, we're all right. We could stay home. Let's watch some movies. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you've been awesome. Thank you so much. Thank you, Emily. Yes. Have a great day. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Bye. Bye. Hi, guys. So, we're here back at Third Shot, and we are here with Chris and Catherine. You know, we're in a very unique spot in town. Very essential. We're right on the edge of Sheridan, Littleton, Englewood, it's across the street. Englewood, yes. It's across the street from Hampton. So, yeah, that's one of the reasons why I'm so excited about this location in general, is because we just have so much exposure to all the different cities. Everybody that comes in is like, oh, we're just right down the road. It's close. You know, it's just a great location. Oh, it's so perfect. I mean, there is nothing around here, really, honestly, especially going towards I-25. There's nothing over here that you can go play at. Right. And like this facility. Not like this. Having the parking. You know, there's a lot of times the parking's an issue. You have a Dutch Brothers, which I love. Sorry, but I do love Dutch Brothers. So, that's a benefit right now. But you got Costco, you got food in here, and it's just easy to get to. Yeah, and we have a huge parking lot. And I think we're serving some communities that have been, you know. Needing Pickleball. Yeah, begging for something. Indoor court. And what you've done here, gorgeous. I mean, this is the, we've been to all your Third Shots, and I think this is the number one. I'm sorry, other Third Shots, but this one, I love the insulation you put in for the noise. I mean, it's full courts right now. It's like Smell-O-Vision right now. You just got to kind of imagine it. But this is full courts, and I can talk to you. We can take these headphones off and have a nice conversation. Yeah, yep. Can hear everything. Yeah, the K-13, you know, when they're selling it to you, you're not sure, right? You're just kind of hoping. So, today has been, you know, an amazing test, and it's held up great. Yeah, it's pretty fun. It's a little expensive, and I feel like already I know it's going to be worth it. It's so worth it. Because, you know, the first Third Shot, I mean, they are still trying to put baffles up. You can't hear. I mean, I don't have good hearing as it is, and it's hard to hear there. So, this is nice. Yeah. Really nice. The goal is to make sure that you can hear when somebody is yelling out the wrong score at you. Yeah, yeah. Then you can yell at them. Then I say, what? Right? Yeah. So, we should say we're here with Chris. Oh, sorry. We just got right into it. And his wife, Catherine. And I just want to make sure that, you know, everybody knows who we're talking to. Yeah. Sorry about that. Yeah. Your boss is over here on my right. Yeah. Your boss? My boss. The big boss. That's what I call my big boss. Right. But, no, the facility, I love the open center. Gorgeous. Easy to see. You got the nets. You did the shorter ones, which are super nice, too. Yeah. We decided to go with the 8-foot nets. And it's really just about the space, trying to make, keep it feel, it's a huge space. And we want it to feel huge. So, we went with the black nets to kind of give it that screen door effect. And then we went with the 8-foot nets. We have already, you know, with our soft opening over the last week, we haven't run into any issues, any complaints about that. No, it's so nice. The big numbers on the wall, I have to say, that's so nice for old people like my vision's not good. We wanted to make it easy when you walk in, you know, to know which court and where they are. I love it. I do love that. Yeah, definitely. It helps. And there's 16 courts. Yeah, there's 16 courts in here. And you have a lot of room to enjoy, to sit, hang out. You've got furniture down all the rows. You've got this nice sitting area. I mean, this is nice. No, thank you very much. I appreciate it. We've had the benefit of learning from some of our predecessors. Even just in other companies around town, just from playing in many of them myself, just some of the things that I liked and disliked, and I was able to, you know, we were able to kind of get the best of all worlds here, the best we can, at least. Oh, yeah, high ceilings. I mean, all the pillars are in just – I mean, it looks like somebody measured, you know. Yeah, we got really lucky with this space. Really? We maximized it. All courts are plenty – I mean, you have more than enough room, you know. Yeah. So, I love the serving. I mean, you can come all the way back to the fence. I mean, there's plenty of room. Yeah. So, you guys out here, you've got to get out here and check it out because it is super nice. It's wide open, great playing, and it's free today, but you have to sign up. I guess you're full, though, right? We're full. For today. For today, yeah. We have over 560 registered, our waiting list for every single open play. Wow. So, lots of exposure. Really, just it's been beyond my wildest dreams. Well, off air, we are talking, too. I want to say that, you know, this is one of the best grand openings that we've been to. You've done a really great job. I mean, opening where there's no lines, everybody's coming in on a rotation. I just think that's really great. Everybody gets a chance to play. Yeah, they're just coming in like they're just playing normal, like, hey, we've got a court. Let's go on. So, it's super nice. And this is all open play. 16 courts are going right now. There's not been one court since 6 a.m. this morning that has not been played on. Yeah. And we didn't even go on that wait list, and we played a little. We snuck in. Sorry. Waving to friends. Oh, no, no. Hi. But, yeah, we did sneak in. I wasn't going to tell you. I know. Well, you did. So, is there any specials? Are you doing any free play for the next month? What are you guys doing? Today's going to be the end of the free play. Okay. But we do have some specials going on. Our memberships, we're going, our annual memberships, you can pay for 10 months and get 12 months of membership. Nice. We have our punch cards. Buy 8, get 10 right now. Nice. And we're going to, that's just going to go through today. And then after this week, we'll probably roll out some other specials throughout the year. But right now, that's all we've got. Nice. Tell us a little bit. Let's go back a little farther. How long did it, how did you find this space? You know, I know that's a challenge out there to find. I mean, there's warehouses everywhere, but not all spaces work, right? Yeah. Well, you know, we were in talks with people over some of the other locations that have been picked up, you know, by some of the, like Epic and the Tech Player recently. And we really just kind of fell into this space became available, Old Cons Building. That's great. And, yeah, we were, you know, kicking ourselves on missing out on some of those other locations. And, you know, just like. I think it was a good, it was for a reason. It's one of those things happen for a reason. That's right. Yeah. So, and then how long did it take once? I mean, when did you find the space and how long after that did it take to get to the yard? The space was found in probably January-ish, January, February of 2025. Yeah. And then I think we had a signed lease by May. Wow. So you got this open. Wow. Construction started in July or August? Construction started in the first week of August. So you really moved. Yeah. I know I snuck in here a couple times when nobody was here. I was like, wow, I knew it was a pickleball court. They got your mic shot on that camera. I did. That was you? Yeah, it was me. Guys, come on, get him. Get him. Take him away. But we also were meant to open two months ago. And I think I told you before we ran into a little bit of a hiccup with our mezzanine. Got built a little too high and we had to stop everything. So the whole back area has really been done pretty much since like November other than a couple of courts. So what did you have to do on the mezzanine? We had to jack it all up. They had to cut the walls down underneath it, rebuild all the structure, and then set it all back down. There's always got to be something, right? Yeah, it was fun. Well, he said, too, we were talking to George, the court, about there's a huge crack. Yeah, altitude. He said there was a huge crack in this. You know, we want to do some video on that because when you come in here, they're glass, they're beautiful. It smells beautiful. But where you see it, sometimes there had to be a part where you're like, can we really put all these courts in here? Is this going to happen? Oh, it's funny. In one of our early Instagram posts, we kind of showed what it looked like when we received it. And it's just dark, dingy. It looked like a basement. It looked like a basement. Like you would feel like you were going to get murdered in here. Yeah. Now it's bright and fresh and clean. And you moved fast. It went really well. Well, thank you. I attribute that to a lot of the help that I had with my ownership group and also the construction team that we had. Just very motivated. Everybody was really on the up and up and made it all happen. I don't know how much better you could do the next one. I think this is top notch. Well, thank you. Honestly, we see a lot of courts. I mean, we've opened up 20-some courts here in Colorado. So, yeah, we've seen every court. And we're not saying bad about anybody. We have to be careful because we're not doing that. Everybody has their thing and where they go. Even you guys at Third Shots are a little different, each one, right? You guys have a little different way of how you want to run your place. Yeah. We're not a franchise, right? So we don't have just a set rules of how we have to do things. We don't have even set. We do have a weekly GM call with all the other Third Shots. But it's really just a sharing session. And, you know, we're trying to learn from each other. So how does it work? Do you guys have open play? Do you have leagues? How is it going to work? So every day we're going to have probably four open plays during the week. So that's 7 to 9 a.m., 12 to 2, 4 to 6, and then 8 to 10 in the evening. We're also going to be kicking off a bunch of leagues. One of the benefits of having 16 courts is that you can do multiple things at once. Oh, yeah. So we're going to have leagues. We're going to try to, because we're so close with our partners up in Wheat Ridge, we're going to try to do alternating nights. So if you're in a mixed doubles league in Wheat Ridge, then you can come down on a different night and do a mixed doubles league. Oh, how fun. That's good. It's really fun. Pickleball all the time. All the time. I mean, you know how this is. I mean, once you start, you can't get out. It's an addiction. It really is. We were just talking to somebody. And, no, the girl that, what was her that was on here? Emily. Emily was on here, and she just took a lesson with Jeff. And she's like, well, her husband doesn't play like she does. Well, we're like, oh, you're going home now? No, she's going to the next. She's going back to Wheat Ridge to go meet some friends. And then it's date night tonight. So the husband will finally get to see her tonight. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? But you guys get to work together, right? So that's a good thing? That's right. Yeah. I mean, I couldn't do it without her. Yeah. And your daughter, she's wonderful too. We get to meet her. But she's going back to school. Yeah, she's going back. Tomorrow we leave. She goes back to Boston. Dropping her off at the airport in the morning. Yeah. Well, so how good of players are you guys? I am not. You're not a player, or you're not good? I have yet to play. She hasn't played in a sanctioned game yet. But she's played. I've played. Yeah. And I played. You played pretty good. I've been playing in leagues for years. You play really good. But not really good. I would not say that. I have pros, teaching pros for that. I'm going to be taking full advantage of that now that I have a little bit of time. You have your session now. Come in. Get over here and teach me. Yeah, exactly. I'm just going to jump in on a bunch of clinics. Yeah. Well, it'd be easy to be like, you know what? I just want to see how you're going to do this or show me. Right. Yeah. You need to know that you're doing it good, right? I think you're doing a good job. I told that to Jeff, my head pro here. And I'm so lucky to have Jeff. I love it. Oh, he is awesome. He's so nice. Yeah. That's great. But I told him, if you can teach me, then I know you can teach anybody. Wow. He's sweet. No. Well, we appreciate everything and having us here. And, I mean, what a place. I mean, I can't. What you've done. Thank you so much. You'll see me here a lot. I'm actually in construction. So I'm actually doing the police station here, 7,000 feet of tile at the police station. Wow. Okay. And so Jeremy, I just told him. I said, hey, I was just over there at the third shot. So he's come over here, Jeremiah. Yeah, Jeremiah. Yeah, Jeremiah. Yeah. So he's like, well, you're going to come over and play some pickleball. So I got to be over here early in the morning. So I'm going to be at the open place. So you'd be like, what's Mike doing here again? Yeah, we're lucky. The city of Sheridan has been amazing to us. It's neat that they're small. That's what you've got. Actually, the good part, you are in Sheridan than some of the bigger cities. Yeah. And I think that's not always true. But Sheridan definitely is. We've heard nothing but good things. Yeah. They treat us like a partner and help us out along the way and help explain things. Because not everything is super clear when it comes to all these regulations. Permits. Well, this is like their big shopping center. Like, this is their big center. So this is really important to them. Well, it was very exciting to have the mayor of the city. Yeah. He came out and got an honor. Yeah. Yeah. Even working with them, they've been really great. We just started, like I said, I've been a consultant for a company for a long time. And I'm helping them get into the flooring part of it. And so, yeah, they've just been a great people. Great. I've worked with other cities, and it's not as easy. Yeah. So I won't mention names, but. Yeah. They take out a lot of the red tape. I mean, like everybody knows each other. So if you need help with something, they can tell you who to talk to. It's not call and leave a message on this number and hope that you get a call. No, and I think they do a lot of their own stuff. So they don't have a 10,000 people working there. It's like, I always talk to you when I'm talking to Jeremiah. He's like, well, I'm doing this, and I got to go here. And I'm like, oh, you wear a lot of different hats. Right. But do you want to give a shout out to your Instagram and email? And how people can find you. Yeah. We're at thirdshotpickleball.riverpoint is our Instagram, and I think that's our Facebook as well. So, yeah, if you find us there, you can find us on any of the socials. And then get up onto what's the app to sign up for? Court Reserve. Yeah. How did I not know that? Everything is Court Reserve. If you have the Court Reserve app already, you just add us as an organization, and that will create a guest free member account for you, and then you can come out and look at all of our programming that we have available. At least it's gotten easier. Remember Court Reserve a lot. It was terrible. It's really good now. Some of those tools, these tools, none of them are perfect. No. But they're getting better. They are getting better. Pickleball still, you know, we're still young. Well, they were tennis. And organized. Yeah, they came from tennis. Right. This is not tennis. Right. And now I'm playing Padel. Oh, yeah. I think you were telling me that the other day. I'm telling you. I'm just a crazy. Yeah, I'll agree with that one. I mean, I want to play Padel. I want to check it out. You've got to try it. If you were a racquetball player and you like the glass and the walls, it's just like home. It's a little different. And it's just a quick game. Like, when I first went there, like, we're going to do six sets. I'm like, I don't know if I have all that time, you know, but it's the same scoring as tennis, regular tennis. So you do sets. So a second only be five minutes. Like, we played five-minute games. It's crazy. Wow. But it's, I finally got hit with the ball, though. I think I was telling you. And it looks like you'd get hurt. The pickleball hurts way worse than a tennis ball, because it flattens out. It kind of has no air in it. But when it hits you, it kind of takes your breath. You're like, it hits hard. Yeah. It's a more deep. It's a deep. It like squishes into you, and you're like, oh, I lost something. I'm falling over. Is this it? I'm out. I'm done. You know, but no, I'm good. I'm all there still. Pickleballs give you a stinger. They do. I mean, I go home, and I take my shirt. I'm like, there's all the little circles. I owe that person next time. You get body bagged. Oh, yeah. Well, you know Greg, right? Yeah. Yeah. He's the body bagger. You ever get in the court with him? Oh, yeah. He does it a couple times a game. He don't care. Unapologetic. Yeah. He'll do his mom, his sister, grandparents, your child. Anything to win. He's out lobbing 90-year-olds. Right. He doesn't care. It's all about winning. It's so funny. Well, we thank you both. Yeah. Thank you. You are both awesome. Well, we are so excited for you all to come be here today. Yeah. We really appreciate it. You're going to see a lot more of us. It's good. We love what you did here. You're in a great place. For me, my traveling as I drive, this is going to be whoop, get in play, get out. You know? We love that. We love that. Thank you, guys. Thank you. Thank you. Have a great day. You guys are great. Thank you, guys. Okay. All right. We're back at Third Shot here. We got a special guest. We got Bella. Hello. Hi, Bella. Hi. You just happen to be related to somebody here, correct? Just kind of. Kind of like who would that be? Chris Williams is my dad. Oh, nice. He is awesome. You have an awesome dad. Thank you. I get that a lot. And mom. I get that a lot. Don't tell him though. That only inflated his ego. Oh, yeah. We won't say anything. We're going to always leave this like a mystery until he has to listen to it. Oh, I like that. I like that a lot. I would like to get his video reaction. Yeah. See. See what's happening. Yeah. Well, we found some things out about you and we can't talk about it right now. Oh. Oh, no. Oh, no. All lies. All lies. What should we hear about your dad and your mom? I mean. Gosh, I don't know. I mean, this whole thing has been really exciting. I mean, my dad, I don't know if he told you guys, but he worked in corporate at the same place for like 20 years before this. Oh, no. Wow. So, we're just all like very proud of him because like this stage in your life deciding to just like leave. Hey, see that? Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. I mean, this stage in your life deciding to just like. Hey, see that? Leave it. Leave that paycheck and everything to pursue a dream? Like we're all extremely proud of that. That's awesome. But he's taken, I mean, look at this place. It's beautiful. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Like he's doing an amazing job. Yeah. Yeah. Oh definitely. And everybody seems to get along here. Yeah. Like you know, which is really great. All very positive energy. Yeah. And I hear you kinda. Do you help with like social media and stuff? Yeah. So, I am. I am running our Instagram page. Okay. I am pretty much all the flyers. I'm doing that for him. Just awesome. Awesome. I mean, it's awesome. And because we just said, well, who do you want? Because we're doing it. We're going to give you the media for this. Yeah. We got pictures and good stuff. Great. Cut it up. Use it. Why not? Thank you. Yeah. And well, maybe we can share and we'll just go back and forth. Go back and forth. So, you and I will be talking. Not Mike. I'm not the smart one. I'm the bronze. He's the brain. Yeah. He does move the stuff. I just move the stuff. Hey, balance is everything. Yeah. Yes. So, let's talk about the pickleball world. Yeah. How you got in this whole crazy thing? Well, so I haven't even really started playing pickleball. What? I started playing when my boyfriend came out to visit and we just started playing like a week ago. Oh, my God. So, like my mom and I aren't even really involved yet. So, it's really all been laid out. Oh, you will be. Oh, yeah. Oh, I've already got the itch. Don't worry. Yeah. This will not be the last time you see me. Yeah. Yeah. Do you play other sports? In high school, I used to. Yeah. Okay. I was on the varsity lacrosse and cheerleading team. Oh, yeah. I like that. That's a hard... What did you play? Attack. Well, anything. Yeah. It was, you know, women's lacrosse in high school is not the most popular choice. So, they kind of threw us everywhere. Yeah. But this... Yeah. That's not like just, you know, throwing a basketball. That's some work. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. My son played lacrosse. I love it. Yeah. Especially boys lacrosse. I love boys lacrosse. And it's fun to watch. Yeah. Yeah. So, where did you go to high school? Heritage. Heritage. Heritage. That's a nice name. Yeah. Yeah. Has a nice name. Do you like it there? I do. I love Boston. I went to school my freshman year of college in New York. Okay. And that was a little too crazy for me. Yeah. That's... I don't... Yeah. I've had to fly in and out, and that was just more than I needed. Yeah. Yeah. I... Luckily, I was in Long Island. Okay. But my friends went to school in the city, and I was like, I don't know how you guys do this. So, Boston, I like a lot more. It's a lot more quiet than New York, but still city vibes. When you lay in the grass, my son's been there, and worked there, and went to school there, and there's rats that run by you, and it's normal. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure. Yeah. What? It's like, I'm okay. I'm not... I wouldn't be laying in the grass if there were rats. Oh, yeah. They live with... A limited amount of grass as well. Oh, no. Are they big ones? Yeah. Oh, yes. Yeah. Oh, big. They eat everything. They're like dogs. They'll eat your dog. Well, I hope not, but... They're... But it's just a normal... Like, for people, it's just a normal thing. They have cockroaches in places. They have cockroaches? Yeah, Florida. They have cockroaches. Florida, like... Yeah. Oh, there are two, but Florida... They scare us. Yeah. They fly, and they're just normal. Yeah. Colorado's nice. Nice and dry kills everything, because you can't eat. Yes. You can't survive. Yes. That's what we like. So then, will you be coming back for summer then? Undecided. I'm not sure yet. I've been looking at... But how are you going to play pickleball here? I'll have to come back. Yes. Okay. I have to make guest appearances. Yes. That's what it's got to be. Yeah. So, I'm going to be coming back for summer. Depends on where I can find a job. Now, you said boyfriend, and that sounds kind of tied to that. Yeah. Does it depend on that, too? He does live on these coasts. I can kind of see that. He does live on these coasts. Ah. Okay. We'll see. We'll see. Nice. He does aviation. Oh, wow. Okay. So, his training kind of determines on where he's going to be. Yeah. That could change. So, I might have to stay over there with him. But we'll see. All right. All right. So, well, how nice of you. So, how long have you been here to help them now? Since the beginning. Oh, my gosh. Since he got the position, I've been telling him that I'd love to help out. Like, back at school, I'm actually using this as a marketing internship to get credit for it back at school. That's awesome. That's great. So, it's just a great experience here. Oh, yeah. Largest sport in the world. I mean, you're marketing something that is... I mean, you don't realize, you probably do now as you start to get into it, but how big Pickleball is. Yeah. No. It's huge. Well, and even on the East Coast, because I was thinking like, you know, West Coast. Oh, no. Like, obviously, it's huge out here, but it's across the entire U.S. I mean, look at the stadiums in Florida and stuff. Stadiums that are made for Pickleball. Yeah. That's nuts. So, my daddy should find out how to make a facility in Boston and run that for him. Oh, yeah. You could. Yeah. Hey, third shot, right? Third shot. Yep. You know what? I think that they're going to have a lot of success here. I mean, look at today. It's ran beautiful. The courts have not stopped since 6.30 this morning. It's been full. Yeah. Full. Yeah. It's great. Not stopped. And it's ran really good. I mean, they're just coming in. Yeah, everything. No, we're telling them it's one of the best grand openings. You know, I think these things take time, but it's one of the best ones that just was so organized that it ran smooth. People were here, knew what time to come in. They had their name tag. Yeah. I mean, I was a little worried when I pulled up at 6.30 and there was cars. Parking lot has been full. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're not used to seeing that until today. No. Yeah. But, and I don't think it's going to stop now. I think the location where they're at, there's no other Pickleball really close to them. Yeah. Yeah. And they were telling us, like, they only went to Wheat Ridge because it was the closest to them. Yeah. And they're just so happy that this location's open now. Oh. Yeah. And traffic is not fun here, so this is nice that it's, if you live close to here, it's really nice. Yeah. Yeah. And like I said, they didn't skimp anywhere on this facility. No, which is incredible. Yeah. I mean, even like the insulated ceilings. Oh. Yeah. Like, that detail changes everything. Yeah. Well, we, I started, I actually helped them when they were building the third shot in Wheat Ridge. Yeah. And I was actually helping Max over there when he was doing all the stuff. Yeah. And, and they didn't do this. See, that, it wasn't really kind of available when they started. Yeah. And now they've had nothing but trouble trying to keep baffles and put things. Yeah, exactly. Because it's so loud. Yeah. It's loud here because it's Pickleball, but you got to go to a facility like, that doesn't have this and it's really loud. And you can't even hear it. Yeah. Yeah. My mom and I have been talking about it. If you walk in the opposite direction of somebody and you're talking, you can't hear them. No. At all. Like, it just completely cuts out. It's, it's great. Yeah. No, it's really nice. Yeah. That's the nicest one out of all the, so far. Which is what your dad said. He said, this is, you know, he had time to see the other ones and what they did. Yeah. And what they did. Yeah. And then he added his own flair and I'm, thank you. Didn't go with black. Wow. It just would have been so dull. It is. The blue is so, it's so dull. This electric little blue. Oh, I like it. It's so bright. It's warm. It's welcoming. I love it. Yeah. Super great. So, well, hopefully we're going to get you into some Pickleball. Yeah. Of course. And hopefully we see you, you know, after you, uh, go to college. Yeah. We'll keep in touch. DMing. Definitely. Yeah. Well, maybe this is the first Pickleball wedding that'll be here. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. Sorry, boyfriend. How long have you been dating him? Three years. Okay. Sorry, boyfriend. Yep. Yep. Sorry. Three years. Okay. At least not at a Pickleball facility. Okay. Not every little girl's dream. Yeah. Yeah. You could still have a pretty dress. Hey, maybe the reception. Yeah. Maybe the reception. Pickleball party. That would be fun. That would be fun. Oh, yeah. People do do that. Yeah. Yeah. And they have the, and they have the facility to do that here. And do you know anybody that would like you? I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. So, well, we're so grateful that we got to talk to you and meet your parents. So exciting. Now, we're going to, now that we know you're the marketing person, we're going to be working with you. Yeah. That's great. Definitely. But yeah, we want to help. I mean, our whole goal here when facilities are opening, we're not here to charge or do anything. We're here to help facilitate the community of Pickleball people to get here and see something. Basically, our saying is that people get, live vicariously through us. I love that. So, yeah. That's a good one, huh? Yeah. You even said it right. I almost didn't. Logan. Yes. Yes. So, yeah, we might even call you and say, hey, we need some marketing tips. Yeah. Exactly. Especially graphic design too. Oh, my God. So if you guys ever need anything like that. You shouldn't have said that. Yeah. Nice. Nice. I'll hold my portfolio up. Hey, we actually have some other parts of Pickleball's next door that we're working on that go with Pickleball's next door. So, yeah. You shouldn't have said that. But that is awesome. No, we could use your help. Okay. I am. She is the brains. I mean, she's actually put all this together. The logos. It looks great. I love it. You got to look at our website. I mean, our pitch deck. She is. I don't care what a lot of people say about her. I like her. What do you think about these? She does these koozies. Oh, these are great. Are you kidding me? Yeah. Have you ever heard of Frostbuddy? I haven't. So, those are... We do all the graphic design work on those. Very cool. Yeah, but they're fun. I love these types of koozies. Yeah. Those are my favorite. Multi. That thing does everything. Yeah. It'll cook my food or something. Yeah, it does. If you know how to do it. Yeah. If you know how to do it right without blowing your microwave. We really do appreciate you sitting down with us, Bella. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. And we will keep in touch. Yes. Absolutely. How do we get a hold of you? Is there anybody for your graphic design and everything? I mean... Like your Instagram or anything? Not my Instagram. I haven't set up my graphic design Instagram yet. Okay. But my email. Yeah. Okay. Annabellapageatgmail.com. Nice. That one, I will owe you. Repeat that one more. Annabellapageatgmail.com. Okay. I love Annabella. That's such a beautiful name. You can thank my dad for that one. Yeah. Oh, nice. Nice. Yeah. Well, thank you so much. You're so sweet. Thank you. And we hope to... We'll be talking to you more. Absolutely. Especially graphic design. Yeah. Okay. Come on, we're on. Thank you. Thank you. Have a great day. Have a good trip back. Thank you. Yes. Bye-bye. Take care. Bye. Bye. Here we go. All right. We're here back here at Third Shot, the grand opening here in the Sheridan. Because I keep saying it wrong. Sheridan, Colorado. Sheridan, Colorado. I keep calling it Littleton. I mean... Wow. Yeah. It's on the... It's close. Yeah. It's got to be like on the line or something. It pretty much is. Yeah. Sheridan, Colorado at where? Third Shot. But where at? Like in what... Stop saying that. We're at the Riverpoint. Riverpoint. Yeah. I got part of it. You're supposed to step in and see. Riverpoint. We're here at Riverpoint right by Target and Costco, right? Right. Yeah. So it's a great facility. And who are we with? Jeff. Jeff. I was like... Had to look at his shirt. Like, show me. I know Jeff. And Jeff, you're a pro, right? Yeah. I'm the head teaching pro here. Yep. Yep. Awesome. Yeah. I thought you were one of the owners. She just thought you were some player. Yeah. Who are you? No, no. It doesn't matter. I actually thought you were one of the owners, honestly. Oh, okay. Oh, she just changed her tune. She thought you were just some person they pay by the hour or some smuck. No. I only think you're a smuck. I am. So anyways, no. All right. But that's why I did it. Sorry. Now, you put a ton of time in this, huh? Yeah. I mean, how long have you been here? I mean, everybody thinks that you're just here for the grand opening. But there was a lot of work that went in to get it where it is, right? Yeah. We've been doing construction meetings, I feel like, for a half a year now. I feel like you could build one of these yourself. Right. So we've been kind of a part of that. Kind of just mostly just kind of getting status in some of those. Sometimes if there's problems arising, we would, you know. Sure. Give our opinions and stuff like that. But the last few weeks, it's been kind of here almost every single day, kind of working on doing stuff here, doing stuff there, getting furniture built, you know. Oh, yeah. Checking inventory with the pro shop. So it's been a... Yeah. Well, we heard, like, we were talking to George, you know, Judge of Courts. He said there was a huge crack in the floor. Like, there was some stuff that's happened. Yeah. That this is beautiful that you people don't know how much it takes to get it to this point. It really, yeah. And then you've added a lot of new features that all the other 3rd Shots don't have. You have the new ceiling, spray foam, right? Yeah. Yeah, the K13. And it's really quiet, right? Yep. I mean, amazing. I can hear myself think. I know. Except for me. Except for me. Yeah. I'm, like, over here chattering. Yeah. But lighting, different lighting. Yeah. More courts. And you have the center open here. Yep. Which is pretty neat. I like that. I think that just really looks so good when you walk in. Yeah, the 4-foot fencing really helps kind of open the place up. Really does. And then you've shortened the nets here. They're a little tighter, the center openings. That's pretty awesome. We also have black nets. Oh, yes. Black nets. What are the others? They're, like, green. Army green. Oh, okay. It just kind of helps more with, like, a screen door type effect where it's easier to kind of, like, see through it. They've had to unhook me from those. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, there's nets over there. When they first, the first ones? Uh-huh. Because they stretched out, remember? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. It was, you were tripping. I mean, it's a wonder nobody ended up in the hospital. Yeah. It's just, like, it's an entire job just, like, managing those nets over there. But you've done so much. I mean, again, that was the start. You keep upgrading the facilities. I mean, the numbers on the wall, you can see where the courts are. It's nice when you walk in. Real nice entryway to come in. Nice pro shop. Love the... Mesumee. Mesumee. Yeah. That's awesome. Just hang out. So, but anyway, those are the things I think are awesome. What do you think about it? What do you think of the new club? Oh, I love it. Yeah. Of course. I mean... I've already had a few lessons in here, and it's nice being able to actually converse with the students, feeling like I have to yell at them all the time, even from, you know, feet away. So, the sound insulation's great. The lighting's great. It's nice and even. It really is. I mean, and we... You know, people don't realize it. They're like, well, it's always going to be loud. You're hitting a ball, and there's lots of people talking. Yeah. But go to the other one. You can't hear each other say the score. Right. So, I mean, this has made a big difference. Yeah, it really has. So... And we actually had one of your students on our podcast, Emily. Oh, yeah? Yeah. She said she worked with you yesterday. Yeah. She was a great little player. Really good player. Mm-hmm. I think she's a 3.5. I think she's moving up pretty quick. And you helped her in the kitchen, is what she said. Yeah, she was doing her double backhand. She had a nice roll. I mean, she was playing well. Yeah. I felt good. I could be lazy. Yeah, we ran a camp this past week. Nice. Which was hosted here, but was also part of the Summit Pickleball Collective, which Eli Steiner and I are kind of heading up as well. That's awesome. Yeah. So, you've got all kinds of stuff brewing, huh? Yep. All in at the same time. Yeah. I love this place. I mean, you're awesome. I mean, you're always great. Nice to people. Nice pro, you know. Always smiling. Yeah. Yeah. Always smiling. Well, you like what you do. Yeah. I mean, you're good at it, too. I mean, you're quite the player. I've played with you a few times. You just make it look easy. I absolutely love this. Yeah. Coming from the tech world, which I was in, and like my spouse just keeps on saying just like how much happier I've been this past year just being in the pickleball space. Because not all these numbers and crazy stuff's going on in your head. Right. All the problems that you have to have. Yeah. And I was like, oh, I just need to hit the ball over there. Here we go. Right. Yeah. And make it simple. So, are you going to be here every day? Yeah. Is this someone that people can come sign up? Or do they need to go online to find out how to set up with you to get, you know, lessons and stuff? Yeah. I'll be pretty much here pretty much every day. Yeah. At least for some portion of the day. But the easiest way to kind of book with me and any of our teaching pros here is just through our Court Reserve app. Nice. Nice. Everybody. Yeah. How many pros are here? Sorry. Oh, we have five total. So, myself, we have Molly Carter, Donny Gallegos, Chris Williams, and Jacob Becker. Are they all level, different levels? Are you like the different pro levels? Or are they all about the same? Yeah. We have a range. They're all over four. Okay. But it kind of spans that range. Sure. You're at a 5.0, aren't you? 5 plus? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. I know. That's just nuts. Yeah. She's amazing, too. We were in Seattle and watched her. Yeah. Crazy. Yeah. Did you get to play with the Friday guys? No. I was over there when they were playing. But... They are some good players. Yeah. I mean, one's close to a 6.0. I mean, you can tell, too. Right. You know when you get in a court with anything... I mean, you get past 5.0, they're eating their lunch, doing their nails. I mean, you're nothing to them. You're just like, well... Oh, good shot. Oh, should I take that? Let me get that email. Oh, here you go. Oh, here you go. Good. Oh, you're doing so good. You're so good. Oh, wow. Good hands. Good hands. Really good. I just smacked you, but... Oh, sorry to body bag you. It's just crazy. I mean, but the level up now, though... I mean, I think we were talking... Maybe I was talking to you earlier or somebody, but the level up from when we started like four years ago, like, it's just like the 3.5s now are 4.0. Yeah. You know what I mean? So, the 4.0s, I mean, it's leveling up so fast. Yeah. Even Emily today I played with. I mean, you know, she's just like, I'm just leveled up at 3.5. And I'm like, you're playing way better than a 3.5. Right. But maybe it is a 3.5 now, right? And the level just went up. Yeah. Or I'm getting old and slow. So, I must be a 1.0 now. Yeah. I know. She's going down. We take her paddle out in a few weeks. We don't have a paddle. Sorry. You just turn your paddle in. You're so nice, buddy. Sorry. I mean, you brought it up. I just ran with it. No, you were supposed to say... Oh. No. You're really doing well. She's almost at 2.0. You're doing like 4. She's almost 2.0. Yes. She can hit the ball sometimes. Yes, I can. You know, I try. Yeah. You know. Well, we thank you for bringing us here and supporting us. And we want to support you. Let us know if there's anything we can do. Is there any shout-out or numbers or Instagrams or anything you want to say? I mean, as always, 3rd Shot Pickleball River Point. Okay. Jeff Moulton, PB. That's me. Yeah. The full 3rd Shot account. And then those other couple businesses I'm doing. Summit Pickleball Collective. And I think that's Summit PB Collective on Instagram. And then Picklecraft AI. Nice. Picklecraft. Well, give us a little... Give us a little... That kind of just piqued my little interest. Yeah. It's another thing that Eli Steiner and I have been putting together. It's going to be a tool to help coaches interact with students. So you couldn't get away from that tech stuff. You thought you were getting away. Well, thankfully, I'm dealing with the pickleball side. Okay. Okay. Good. Good. Because there's the numbers. Yep. Well, thank you so much, Jeff. Yeah. We appreciate you so much. We're going to be around. You'll see us more. We're doing some stuff to work with 3rd Shot. So you'll be... You'll get tired of us. No. No, I will not. Just don't let him in the door. Yeah. Yeah. Mike, you're not allowed today. Christina's already here. Yeah. Christina. He's so kind. He even got my name. I'm in a food coma. They brought us some nice barbecue. Oh, that barbecue. Did you try that? Did you have it? I did. Yeah. That's some good stuff. Is that a company here in the facility? Outlaws? Yeah. Outlaw Barbecue. It's just across... I don't know what that street is just north of us. It's just across the street of it. Yeah. Good barbecue. Hampton. Right? Maybe? North? No, the other one. Okay. It goes... Going from north to south. Us, Costco, whatever street. Outlaw Barbecue. Nice. Yeah. We do. We do. I know. And it's off the frontage road. It's so... It's coming on in. It's like, oh, I could just take a little detour here. Right. Do you like the mocha freeze? Have you tried it? I haven't had one yet. Try the mocha freeze. Mocha freeze? It's like the dessert, but you get the caffeine. So you're just... And it's chocolate milk. So if you are a kid and... I mean... And you like food, food drinks. Oh, come on. A little. I love food drinks. Oh. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Do you actually put some pink coloring in there, too? I put some whipped cream on it, too. Whenever my wife and I go out for dinner or whatever, we'll usually get drinks. She'll get some sort of, like, whiskey drink, and I'll get a nice little, like, purple drink or something. Yeah. I like it. Doesn't it taste good? It does taste good. I don't want that freaking harsh burning thing going down my throat. It's nasty. I want the nice whipped cream with the cherry, and it's all mixed. I'm having a protein drink, but I got some alcohol. I kick to it. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Thank you. Thank you again, Jeff. Thank you, Jeff. We'll be seeing you around, and let us know if there's anything we can do. Have a good day. Bye. We're here with George. George, what's your last name? George Tavares. George Tavares. George is the pickleball court man. You know, he does a lot. What does that mean, court man? Court man, the guy that courts. I'm the contractor. I'm with Altitude Athletic Services. Yeah. Okay. He can tell you every why, when, and how, what day, what weather, if there's a storm coming, if a court can even go in. So, it sounds like you've opened quite a few courts, right? Yes. You've accomplished quite a few courts. So, in Colorado Springs, we built Springs Pickleball 1 and 2, and then we built Peak Pickleball. Yep. Yep. 24 indoor courts. Dang, what a place that was, huh? Oh, beautiful. Wow. Wow. We just finished the construction of the South Suburban Courts, 19. Is that Highlands Ranch? Those are the outside ones. Oh, I just saw. It's going to be a collaboration between Highlands Ranch and South Suburban. That's 19 outdoor courts. We built Epic 1, 10 indoor courts. We built Epic 2, 13 indoor courts. Oh my gosh. We built Third Shot Pickleball, let me get this right now, Wheat Ridge, Longmont, River Point, and Reno. Wow. It's a club, courts. Amazing. Now, did you go to Reno? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I knew you were going to say yes. And my family lives about an hour away from there. Oh, so nice. Yeah. I was going to say, good food, good gambling, right? Yes, yes. Oh, sorry, I can't work tomorrow. It sounds like you gamble. If I'm there. Oh, wow. Right? I like to gamble a little. Oh, yeah. She's always telling me, oh, we got sweets in Las Vegas, free. I'm like, well, I know what that costs you. No, I got the credit card. And when you got the credit card, you get points, Mike. I mean, come on, what are you saying? That's what I say. That's what all gamblers say. I don't have a problem, but I'll be right back. Just like a drinker, right? Yeah. So what's it take from, like, from start to finish? Like, how long does it usually take? It depends on the substrate, the surface. This particular surface, there was linoleum tile. We had a major crack going through the middle of the facility. So that took a lot of patching and repairing. So it doesn't crack on the court. Yeah. Well, there's a lot to that. I mean, I'm a floor guy for 40 years. So people, you don't just sand it a little, grind it, and put some filler. There's a lot of work to make it not come back. So we have all the professional grinding and shotblasting machines. So the prep on this place was like four days, five days. And then you can roughly say it's four days a court, roughly, you know. Then we put, in this particular facility, the center courts have fencing with a plastic cap over the top of the fence for safety protection. Yep. And then we put eight-foot netting up. Yeah. And we put a structure. I'm getting technical. Sorry. Sure, sure. But the structure that holds the netting was massive. So much work. I'm looking at it right now, and I'm like, wow. Yeah. Yeah. It's a lot of work. I like these lower ones, though, compared to like Wheat Ridge. I like the nets lower. I think it gives it a little better profile. Wheat Ridge was their first one of doing netting. And they wanted 10-foot netting. After that, Longmont and Reno. And now here, we went with eight-foot footing. It looks so much better. I love the center opening, too. Yeah. You're not getting caught up in tripping. I've watched a lot of people fall and trip. You feel like a fish sometimes. And they're like, if you have your wedding ring on, you're stuck. You're like, hey, can someone get me off? And then something that we do that's pretty rare is we brush the final coat so it has a particular surface that we put down where everyone else squeegee coats. Yeah. When you first play on these, they have some grit. Like, they're grabbing you. But that's good because as they wear down, they are perfect. Yes. Isn't that kind of the benefit of it? Like, if you start not that level, then they're going to smooth out too fast. Oh, yeah. Yeah. These are beautiful. I love the colors. I like these colors. Yeah. Were you in charge of colors? No. Did they pick the colors? No. Adam Kahn, they picked the colors. And they have the same colors for all of their facilities. Nice. Yeah. I like it. I like the dark center, like, for your, you know. I just like it. I like to play. We play everywhere, like you do, you know. Yeah. Yeah. So now, you built also tennis courts, too, right? Yes. So this isn't just pickleball. No. We built a massive facility for the Snowmass Club. Wow. In the mountains. And it's eight outdoor pickleball, two Padel courts. Oh, my gosh. And we put a special clay surface on two courts, and then we built two tennis courts. Brand new. Oh, my gosh. And tennis courts are huge, right? You can fit four pickleball courts in one tennis court. Yes. So that's a big piece. And, again, the levelness, the, you know, we've been to places and, you know, I'm not naming anybody, but, I mean, when you come here, these courts are level, they're flat. Oh, yeah. There's no, these are beautiful. During the prep work, I was going around with an eight-foot level, making sure that, you know, we didn't miss anything. Yeah. I mean. That's great. If you don't do it now, it shows up bad later, right? Yeah. Right now, you might get away with it, but six months to a year from now, it's not going to be good. No, no. So how often do you have to resurface something like this? That's a good. I'm just curious. Oh, really good. That's a good question. For indoors, you can really go 10 years. Wow. And I think they'll go more like seven or eight years. Outdoors, they say every three to five years. Just because of the elements and stuff, yeah? Now, is that more just kind of like how you do a hardwood floor, kind of just rough it up again, and then you put another coat on it? So basically, we power wash. Okay. And then we add three coats. We add a black primer coat and two coats of color. Yeah. A funny part, I was, you were really busy, and I have a court downtown I was trying to do, and you were just, you were just, you were like, Mike, there's no way, no way. I mean, unless you can make elves and make, help me. Yeah. But I've tried to do my own, right? But I forgot the black sealer. It was horrible. Like, we ended up, we went with a vinyl court, and it worked out fine. Okay. Scott Winters, I'm sure you know him. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I know Scott well. He's an awesome guy, so he came in and seen our struggle. But I forgot that one coat, and then it was just sliding all over and blotchy, and I forgot the black coat. And there's a lot more to this. I would love us to come to one when you're doing it and take from start to finish to show people. How much work really goes into this? I would love to do that, and we also have some drone shots and some shots I can send to you. Oh, that'd be awesome. Of the guys, what we refer to as pulling color. Yeah, yeah. That'd be good. Yeah. And people are getting some crazy colors too, though, right? Oh, yeah. Pink. Yeah, there's pink. Yeah, we need pink. Bronco. And we also did Mile High. Okay. And they went with kind of bronco colors, and I wasn't sure. I mean, I love it. Today, you're sure. I love the colors. They picked the colors. I love them. But I'm going, are you going to be able to pick up the yellow, optic yellow ball with the orange? Hue, yeah. And you can. You can. Oh, good. It actually is good. But when I first played there, I was like, ooh, this is, I love the colors too. Yeah. I mean, it's really, they don't call it, they call, I think it's bronco, but they call it something else. I know. I know. But anyway, again, how many, again, you have the professional here, the guy that understands this. George. We see that when George hasn't done the courts, we can know. We know. And how long have you been playing pickleball? Three years. Three years. Okay. And you're a pretty good player? Of course. He comes from, oh, don't even let him. I played him. He comes from tennis. Oh, yeah. You're one of those. He's the tennis guy. I've been a certified tennis pro for 33 years. Oh, okay. Well, that explains it. And I still teach at Denver Tennis Park. Okay. And I'm on the Colorado Tennis Association Board of Directors, and I'm on the Colorado Tennis Youth Foundation where we raise money for underserved youth. Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. You need to let us know we can help with some of that, too. Okay. Let us know when we can come help do a podcast, put out to all our listeners. When you're doing some kind of fundraiser. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I've tried to call you. You're a busy man. It's amazing to see him here and even get him on the podcast. Well, he's playing pickleball, Mike. Okay. That's very important. Not you. Come on. Come on. I know. No, that's good. I played tennis yesterday. Okay. So you do both. You do the, yeah, that's good. He's a very good pickleball player. The top spin he has is just nasty. Like, he's just very, smiles at you while the ball hits the ground and shoots at you. So, very good player. That's good. I'm glad you kind of do that to Mike because, you know, you should see what he does to poor me. Oh, yes. I'm not very good. And he just like, sometimes body bags? No. If she deserves it, she needs to get a body bag. Or, no, no, no. Actually, you know what he does? He pushes me out of the way. I have the forehand. Move out. No. No, but when I'm actually on the line on the right side, you know, I'm like, Mike, Mike, come on. Well, we, I mean, we appreciate what you do with all these courts. Thank you. I mean, I know you're loved by everybody. Yeah. I mean, when, these courts are gorgeous. I mean, all your courts. Everybody's high-fiving you. The owner of Altitude, Kevin Leach, is awesome. He used to work for me at another company called Coatings. Nice. And I'm working for him now. I love it. Yeah. And I love it. Yeah. When I should be retired. That's okay. I really love it. Yeah, but you've got to keep busy, right? Yeah. It's, you're really the next youth is to keep busy. Yeah. But you are a busy man. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you are never nonstop. I mean, I'll see you and you're just going. I'm like, I'm not talking to George today. Well, we thank you so much for being on. Yes, thank you. And we'd like to follow up. Like I said, I'll give you a call. And maybe we can text or something. Yeah. And come and do some filming. Because our audience always asks us, like, they don't really know. They just look like they paint it. Like he put some lines on. There's a lot of work that goes in. We won't probably be doing anything outdoors until May or so. Okay. But I'm going to look through my phone. I have. Some pictures and stuff. It would be neat to let people know. I have a drone shot of when we were in the middle of the project. And then when we finished. Nice. So later on, I can send you a number of different. That would be really good. We put it on our YouTube and stuff. People can go look at it. And we have an Instagram, Altitude Athletic Services. Okay. And on there, there's some clips of the guys. From Spartan to Phoenicia. Yeah. Yeah, it's cool. Now, you want to give a shout out or just people to go to Altitude? Altitude Athletic Services. Yeah. I mean, I know they don't say no. They'll take more courts. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's really fun. It is. And all the people you get to meet, too, right? Oh, yeah. Because you're going to kind of like today. You're going to see. You're reaping the benefit of what you've done. And I've seen last week and today. I've seen friends that I've known for years. Yeah. That we used to play tennis. And sometimes we're playing and they, you look familiar. Oh, yeah. I was in a drill class. That's super funny. Yeah. Oh, it's cool. Well, thank you, George. You're always a pleasure to have on. Thank you. All right. Good luck to everything. I mean, I don't know how you do it all. Thank you. I appreciate it. Have a good day. All right. Bye. Well, we are here at Third Shot. And we have Mark here. How are you doing, Mark? I'm doing great. Thank you. Hi, Mark. So how did you, is this, have you played or been here yet since they've opened? No, this is my first time here. I play a lot of other places. And I heard it was a grand opening. I wanted to come check it out. What do you think so far? It's a very beautiful facility. I like it a lot. The courts are nice. I have some issue to be honest. With the lights on the back wall. But I heard that they're actually going to do some changing next week. And I think that'll be awesome. They did. I think they, you know, I think when these courts, we've opened up all the clubs here in Colorado. And I think it's always that you start something, but there's no player. So when you put it in, it looks great. But you got to get those opinions from the players. And so, you know, like you, you play other places. But they listen. That's what's nice. Too bright. The lights when you're looking up there. Yeah. They look great at you when you're looking across the court. And they're showing up about eight feet up. Which is prime. Right where the ball is. Crushing it. So, yeah. So they need to move them off the back wall more to the ceiling. And they said they were probably going to do that next week. Nice. They said they're doing some changes. So, yeah, they are listening to feedback. And I appreciate that. Where else do you play at? What's your normal home kind of court? My favorite courts I play at the Ridge, which is a rec center. A bunch of super nice people. Where is that? A lot of fun. It's off of Sims and. The Littleton area? Yeah. Okay. It's a rec center near Meadows Golf Course. And then I play at Clement Park and sometimes at Epic and Pickler. Oh, nice. Nice. So you're just a pick a baller. Yeah, I play quite a bit. I'm over 70. And it's a game that I really, really like. I played tennis forever. And I've kind of gotten into this. I really love that it's a little more social. We play golf a couple times a week. But, you know, it's four guys. It's four guys. And you're usually somebody somewhere else until you get it back in the car. Yeah. And if you're the fifth guy, then you're like, wait, what did I do wrong? Who did I take off this week? And even tennis, when I played forever, you'd set it up. You know, well, I just want to play Tuesday at three. And you're getting together, you know, four or whatever. And pickleball, you can be going by a park and it's noon. And you say, you know what? I just want to take a break and just go out and play. And you always meet new people and different levels. And it's a ton of fun. It is fun. And that's the best part of it. It doesn't matter if you're a man, woman, guy, kid. Some of these kids. Have you played some of these kids? I have. I have. They're little monsters. They are good. How did you get started? Well, I've played tennis forever. And some friends were talking about playing pickleball. And so I went out and learned and just really, really enjoyed it. And I do like that it is fun. Because tennis, like I said, you always played with the normal people. I played teams and leagues. So you're always playing people about your level. And pickleball, it's fun to play people that are beginning. And, you know, help them or do stuff and play intermediate or advanced. And I've even, one day I was at Clement Park and got into a really hot game. And then a couple guys left. And then the guy that was playing with us said, oh, we've got to go play that couple. And I'm playing them. And I'm going, this couple is really good. They should be. They're the state champions. Oh, my gosh. So you can go anywhere from total beginners to, you know, the top of the groups. Yeah, the lady right behind you here, she's a pro. She has her own. She has two courts? Yeah, two courts. Sherry? Yeah, Sherry. Sherry has two courts. She's a pro. In her backyard. So she teaches. Nice. She said she's actually got lessons tomorrow. It might be a little chilly, she said. It might be outdoors. Yeah, right? Yeah, outdoors. Then you know who's serious. Well, the funny part is you can't judge anybody in this game. No. You can't. Never judge. I always say the more braces and knee braces and braces on their arm, you're in trouble. Because it means they don't have no pain anymore. They're going to play to play. It is. It's amazing. And I learned that lesson a long time ago in tennis, especially. Oh, yeah. It's a little off pickleball. Can I tell my tennis story? Oh, yeah. Please, please. I was at a Club Med, Playa Blanca in Mexico. Oh, my gosh. Played a ton of tennis. But they were having a doubles tournament. And I was there by myself. I didn't want to play. I was playing beach volleyball because I don't get a chance in Denver. And they put you at different tables. So at breakfast, I was with these two young guys. And they were saying, oh, we're going to win the doubles tournament easily. Easily. Because they were young studs. And first prize was 10 feet of beads, which beads are money when you're there. Oh, yeah. Because two beads is a beer. Three beads is any drink you want. So 10 feet, huge. Oh, yeah. So the tournament's starting. I'm walking by the courts. And I see a lady, maybe 40, with another lady, 20. And they're at the net talking to these two young guys. And they look kind of serious, stern. I thought, okay, whatever. So I go to play volleyball. That night at dinner, the two ladies were at my table, which was interesting. And I said, oh, I saw you at tennis. And it was clear that there was something going on at the net with the two guys. And she said, oh, yeah. And the mother was looking very upset. And the daughter laughed. She said, yeah, we drew these two guys first round. They called us to the net. They said two men against two women is not fair. We'll split up. Just forfeit the match. And I said, that's super rude. I'm sorry. In a tournament, especially, to say that's very rude. I'm sorry. And I said, so what happened? She said, no, we wanted to play. And I said, do you mind my asking what was the score? And she said, well, it was 6-1, 6-0. And I said, well, I know they were good. And she goes, no, no, no. We were a little nervous. And we lost the first game only. Wow. And I said, what am I missing in this story? She said, well, my mother is a professional tennis player. Has played US Davis Cup. And she just retired. And she goes, I'm number one at UCLA. And I'm turning pro next year. And this is who these two guys decided to mouth off to. Oh, yeah. So ever since then, I have tried not to judge anybody. No. Actually, that's a good story. I'm so glad they won. I wish I would have done tennis. I've been doing, I've just been learning Padel. OK. And it's close to tennis. Is there any place around here? I've seen it. There is. The racket, social racket. Social club. It's down on Dry Creek and I-25. Wow. That's number one in Europe right now. Yes. It's growing like pickleball is here, which is fascinating. So I was a racquetball player. So when there's glass walls up, I was like, this is awesome. You know what I mean? But the bad part with it is you have to bounce everything first, right? Oh, wow. Everything's got to bounce. And you have this tennis ball and this huge racket. And you want to hit the ball hard. And it's not that game. It's a game of strategy. It's a very fast game. It has the same score as tennis, exact. Oh, really? OK. But it's a deflated tennis ball with this big paddle with holes in it. I've seen those, yeah. It's a lot of fun. So I wish I would have had a chance to learn. I bet I would have loved tennis. I watch you guys still play today, but I've never tried it. You got hit with the ball, didn't you? I did, though. Yeah. I was worried because I'm thinking, this ball gets hit hard. But it just kind of flattened out. It kind of was more scary hitting you. Like, oh, gosh. You squealed, didn't you? I did squeal. Yeah. I'm a little surprised pickleballs hurt as much as they do. They do. They can. I go home, take my shirt off, and there's those circles. Like, you know, and that's being hit by a girl. But the pickleball's getting pretty fast now. I mean, it's from when I started, the kitchen has gone away a lot. Now, when you start getting up with upper players, as you probably are, upper player, intermediate to upper players, the thinking comes back a little bit. Absolutely. More finesse. And that's the interesting thing. Everybody at the lower levels wants to really hit it hard. They're two feet from the net, and they hit it as hard as they can. They're either in the net or out. Yeah. And then, as you start to get with the better players, you see much more finesse and dinking and control. Nice. Yeah, it's unforced errors. But it's interesting. So, you're going up in the game you learned. I did. With bouncing and stuff. And the tennis players I know are moving over, especially older age, into pickleball. Yeah. Because it's much easier on the knees and things and a lot less area to cover. It is. It is. I love. I mean, pickleball's my thing. I mean, I'm actually trying out next year for Senior Pro. Really? Yeah, Denver Iconics, but I'm the water boy. Yeah. So, the Denver Iconics is our pro team here for Colorado. If you ever want to look them up, they're awesome. Right here? Right here, the Denver Iconics. Wow. They are an incredible team, but I'm the water boy right now. So, you've got to work your way up, right? Okay, that sounds cool. And they've got, what, two teams? Two teams. They're going to do 50 plus and then a 60 plus this year, I think. And possibly there's a 40. So, they might even have three teams. But they will in the NPL, I think. Yeah, NPL. So. Well, I keep looking. But I don't find one in Denver. But they are going to have the Super Seniors. So, that's the next one. It'll be 60 up. Oh, yeah. So, it'll be 60 up. That's a start. Yeah. And I'm almost 60. So, I'm getting ready. I wanted to get in before 60. But we'll see how it goes this next year, you know. But I love playing. Pickleball is my life. But this Bedell thing just got me. We were playing at a court that had Bedell in pickleball. And so, I just had to try it. And now I like it. So, it kind of makes my.. The funny part is when I play Bedell and then come back in the pickleball court, I just play even better. Wow. It's super strange. I don't know if it's a stroke or the heavier paddle. But when I come in, it's so light. And it's so light compared to the Bedell. It's different. So, I love it. So. But anyway, what's your future look like for this? Just keep playing? Yeah, I like to just play as long as I can. You know, kind of on the back hill side of life. But I think I still got a few good years left. Oh, you look great. You look great. Just keeping it straight. Yeah. I actually weighed one pound less than I did in high school. Isn't that crazy? That's amazing. Yeah, you look great. But this keeps your health, your mental health and your physical health. Well, it does. One of the things I keep reading about was intermittent fasting. And this is great for me because I can get up in the morning. I have half a cup of coffee and go and play pickleball until 11. And so, that's my fasting. And then I have lunch. So, it fits in with that. Yeah. And I think it's done for me a lot of good things to help keep weight off and stay in shape. And meet great people. We would have met you. We met you today. Look at us here. There's so many great people. And one of the reasons I especially do want to put a shout out to the Ridge where I play a lot. Because everyone out there is just so nice. And are they indoors or outdoors? That's indoors. It's indoors. If you.. She's more of a beginner. But she's moving up. I'll give her a little credit. Wow. She used to be the 2.0 or best. They tease me so. But she's really moving up and doing a good job. But she has to go play at the rec centers because the people that play in rec centers, they know how to play. And it's a different play with the ball and the court. So, you got to.. It's fast. I find it like faster. Like than out here. So, it's crazy. But good players. I go to Branson. My daughter lives in Branson, Missouri. So, they mainly have just rec centers. So, I go there and play. I get schooled. Oh, we went to.. We spent a week in the villages in Florida. Our best friend's daughter has a place there she rents out. And we went out and they had said, well, this one court is the place to play. They've got so much pickle there for retirement. Wow. I've heard a lot of good things about the villages. And, you know, I was thinking, yeah, you know, I'm cool. I can handle this. No, there was some super ringers there. They're playing every day, all year round. And they are serious. They are not. In nice weather, right? Yeah. They were very nice about killing you. Yeah. Crushing you. Hey, you played really well. Gee, thanks. Yeah. And they're not even thinking. They're probably looking at you like.. Is it lunch time yet? Cup of coffee in one hand, paddle in the other. You know, don't move. Just put it away. They're fasting until like five, right? I don't know what they're doing. But it was great play and everybody there on the courts was awesome. Well, thank you, Mark. Thank you. You've been a pleasure to come over here and meet you today. Here we have another. We're going to get your information and we'll let you know when this is out so we can air your famous.. You can listen to us. You're famous now. Oh, cool. As opposed to infamous like that whole post office stuff. Oh, yeah. Thank you, guys. Thank you so much. Thank you. Take care. Have a great day. Bye-bye. Thanks. Bye. So, Caleb. We're talking to Caleb at Third Shot. Caleb, so you're not sponsoring or nobody's sponsoring you right now, right? No, no. The problem is, is my like the situation with my parents because we're a lower like middle class family and me having to pay for all my pickleball stuff so I had to pay for tournaments. I have to do that. That's why you always see me volunteering is because I can't get it for free with volunteering. But traveling.. I used to travel for tournaments but now it's like kind of hard. Like say like for example I was supposed to go to Daytona in December and that couldn't work out because I didn't have the funds to. I know. I think there's a company that said they would probably help you but you never called us. What? We said we would put you on. We'd help you. Well, yeah. But I don't want like you guys are my friends. I don't want that. It's all right. We're going to make money on you. You just don't know how. You're going to have to wear a shirt and run around. You're going to have to wear a pickleball next to her and run around. I will tat it on my left leg. Oh, you heard that. Oh, yeah. We are recording. Oh, now. So and you always do what you say, right? No. Oh, so there we go. That's.. Wow. But yeah, so like a little thing is like I do want to travel. It's not only because money wise. It's I have two jobs so I manage two jobs. I am a sales associate. I give a sit match and I'm I think I've explained it before. And I work at Epic at front desk. And I do like beginner lessons there. But I'm also a part of multiple clubs mostly political because I want to go into politics when I'm older. So I'm in Turning Point USA. I'm also in Young Socialist Democrats of America and in Students in Action. So I'm in three different parties. So you're busy. Political parties. So I do that. I'm also part SASA which is South Asian Student Association. Boys to Men which is a mental health club for guys. And then I do Student Senate too. Wow. How are you doing? How can you travel? You got so much going on. I make my schedule work and that's what I do. If I need to travel or I need to do something I do it. But it's getting harder because I am a part of the superintendent advisory board. So I go with a group of 50 other kids. I'm one of like three sophomores out of the 50 that represents my school. And we go to the superintendent's office or the place where he goes, works. And we just talk to him. And then I'm a part of policy funding. So we're working on funding. So we're allocating money into the school district. This is not pickleball related. But we are 45th in the whole country for school funding in America. Which is really low. Yeah. Where do you go to school? Cherry Creek High School. Okay. So yeah. Especially we're also $800 million in debt in the state of Colorado too. So there has been a bunch of budget cuts to school systems last year. They cut $80 million. And I can't tell the other one because there's supposed to be another one but I can't disclose any of that. That's going to cut more money. So what my job is is I meet with a group of 10 other people. And we are right now contacting lobbyists, representatives in the Cherry Creek area. And then we're creating an action to help fight off the bill to cut it off. Well that's good. That's amazing. I mean we joke with you and stuff but I mean that's awesome that you are fighting to do things that you believe in. Yeah. And that's a good thing. I mean you're a good pickleball player. Thank you. No. You always are smiling and we like to harass you. No. Like literally just like PTA, you know, belt to ash, just err, err, err, err, err, you know, if you really have to. But yeah. Did you see your body bagger friend was here? Yes. Greg. Greg. I miss Greg. Yeah he is. We miss him too. He's a good friend but he's your body bagger. He didn't bring his stuff. He did that a couple times, right? I was so mad when he didn't bring his stuff. Yeah. Like I was so mad. He's a good friend to play with. He is. But you, I just want to give you, you know, you are doing a great job. Thank you. We might give you a hard time. You give people a hard time. But at the end of the day, you're really working hard to make something happen in the world. And you know what? I hate to say it a lot. If more people would do things, we would have a better world, right? And work as hard as you're working. Yeah, you're working class. One thing, one thing, how many people usually listen to your podcast a month? Thousands. Thousands. We just on Instagram will have over 30 to 50, thousand listeners. So I will tell you guys this, not pickleball related, but more on the standpoint of a student. And also a person that's a, go politically, go vote. This, this election coming up in November. It's important. Go vote. If you don't know, out of the, I don't know how many people live in the US, 90 million people didn't vote for that election. Yeah. 90 million. Wow. That's a, that's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. Yeah. It's just tough. Politics are a tough thing. Yeah. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We don't talk politics. We have people talking and- Yeah. We don't talk a whole lot about them because it just gets people- Mad. Yeah. And, and I hate that we have to be that way anymore. But, you know, religion- Yeah. You know, talking politics. Even sports anymore. Even the Broncos. Even... I know. Broncos, prediction, they're losing in the first- No. No. You're going to, you're going to- Uh oh. You want to get us as podcasters killed, you're going to- Terrible. We're going to get slaughtered this weekend. All right. We're going to get slaughtered today. All right. We're going to get slaughtered today. All right. Well- We won't disclose your name. We won't. Yeah. For purposes of that. We'll put, after he's off, we'll put his address and phone number. Yeah. Yeah. We're going to get that right now. Only do that for people. And you, and you go to Cherry Creek High School. Cherry Creek High School. Yeah. And your name is... But, yeah. What Pickleball questions do you have for me? I mean, where are you at? I mean, it's been a month since we've seen you. Yeah. What's some of the shots you're working on? What are some of the things that you're trying to get to now? I mean, what level are you? What level? I'm a, I'm a solid 3.8 right now. What I'm trying to get to is trying to get back to traveling, you know? Okay. As much as I can. So, I'm working a lot, doing a lot, trying to look for new sponsors. I have great sponsors right now. They're mostly clothing. Like, I won Pickleball Company. Rick Shimizu, shout out to him. Austin, the owner of Holy, shout out to him for helping me out. Yeah. You have to talk to the guys with Friday. They love to, they love to, have you played with Friday Paddles? I have not played with Friday Paddle, but, I'm scared to reach out to them. Why? Really? We're connected. I know, but because they, they're like, they're sponsoring, like, top juniors, and I'm not like a top junior. But you've got to start somewhere. Remember, so if, you know, you've already got a backup, and this is the father coming out in me. Do it. Is that you've got to, don't, don't worry about that, because if you don't have the heart to go there, then somebody that's already there, that they're, everybody's fighting for them. Yeah. I'd rather rate, I'd rather grace room you to that level. And if you make it, you do. If not, then we just, you owe us a lot of money. Yeah. You lose. I owe my dad a lot of money. Yeah. That's okay. Thanks, dad. But you know what? You lose the chances that you don't take. You know that, right? Yeah. Here's the mother father thing. He's old people talking to you. Yeah. But the truth of it is, is don't ever be scared. We're not scared of you. We're not, we're not afraid of you. We will, we will always be here. Thank you. Thank you. Love you. We love you. Bye. Bye. Love you. Bye. Love you. Love you. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Thank you. We are connected to a lot of people. So please, DM us. Get a hold of us, and what we can do. Yeah. The worst scenario is we have you on the cup on the corner out here and get some quarters. Have you seen that guy that is like, if you put up... Oh yeah, yeah. I'm going to be like him and then maybe I'll make some money for... You know what? But no joking. We are so happy to always talk to you. Yeah, thank you. You're very sweet. Love to watch you play. You like to give people some hard time. I appreciate it. You play really well too. Yeah. And if we can get the right people, like Friday, us and other people, we might be able to take that game to the next level. Yeah, absolutely. So think about that. Don't be scared. Does Friday listen to your podcast? Yeah. Friday, if you're listening, Isaac. Isaac, listen to me. We actually had him on our podcast. Yeah, I saw that. I listened to that episode. Yeah, Isaac. Isaac, listen to me. Check out my Instagram. What is it? Caleb Peeble. Caleb with the K, Peeble. And these guys, I'm sure they, you know why they know? Because they had to start somewhere where you are. Yeah, absolutely. So they always remember that. They didn't just wake up and they had a 6-0 duper. Yeah, I mean, nobody did. You know, like there's some people that get really good and some people- And some people that suck. Yeah. You know? That's rude. What? That's so rude. It's so rude. So rude. Should we just kick him out? Yeah, I think so. I think so. No, she actually- I mean, they have tried. I still give her a hard time, but she's leveling up. Yeah. You got to be a little careful with her now. She got some sneaky serves, you know, so she's gotten a little better. Yeah. Someday she sucks. But yeah, besides like doing all of that political stuff, work stuff, and trying to get better, I've been working on my definitely like, my two-hand backhand is nuts today. It's like I might as well be like hitting a cannon because- Love it. Are you rolling with it? I'm rolling with it. I am clearing the net. I'm not clearing. I'm clearing the net like 10 out of 10 shots. And it's dropping down. And it's dropping. It's not even like, it's like the net is here, and the ball is going right over it. It's almost touching it. It's almost touching it. It touched it a couple times, and it keeps landing in the backcourt. Love it. Yeah. I take inspiration. I was watching this junior. Her name is Elise Hendershot. Do you know who that is? I know that name. Elise Hendershot. She has a crazy backhand. And I was like, what if I do the same motion as her, and I'm like- Well, hold on before you go farther. So this is when he holds it with both his hands. Oh, is that what that means? Thank you for clarifying. Wait, what does this mean? Well, she's a beginner, so you need to tell her. He's trying to be smart. I was just telling you what she said. I know what that means. He's just being honest. I'm just giving her a hard time. You still can kick him under the table if you want. No, I'm okay. I'm nice. All right. Well, give everybody a shout-out to go to your Instagram. Yeah. Support him. He's a young man. He has a mission. And we're here to support him. And if he'll DM us, we'll be right there to help him. Yeah. Well, thank you so much, guys. Thank you. Thank you, boys. And give your shout-out to your Instagram again. Instagram. Caleb with a K, people. K-A-L-E-B-P-B-A-L-L. I think he can get you some good equipment too, right? Maybe. We'll see. Or he can help you. He's probably really knowledgeable. Yeah. I mean, look at my Instagram. I post. I'm trying to post more. It was like the last couple months last year. Like you've probably seen my post, my end-of-the-year post. It was tough. It was a tough last couple months. It's all right. So I had to take a step away from Pickleball. I had to take a step away from doing videos. But now I'm grinding. You know what? Pickleball made it. 2026 is the year for me. I may not want to go all the way to pro. Maybe I do. Maybe if it's in the cards. But as a Christian boy, if it's in God's hands. But if it's in the plans, it's in the plans. But I'm sticking with this until the day I die. I love it. I love it. Well, we love you so much. You're such a great guy. Every time we see you, your energy is awesome. Thank you. And like I said, DM us. We can make some things happen. We might have some connections. One more thing for you guys. Again, I just want to say thank you. You guys have not only brought so much joy into my life, but you guys have been such amazing podcasters. Thank you. Well, one of us. They're better than KOTC. Uh-oh. He's shouting out. What? I didn't hear it. No, no one should do that. I'm joking. Just kidding. But best local podcast out there. And they're doing so, so good for themselves. I remember when this just started. You do? I remember when this just started. We were just a little table. They were just a little table. And actually, I met you, Mike, before you even started this. It was at the Epic in Heinz Ranch. What? And it was at Epic One. And the guy's like, I'm starting something new. I'm excited to start it. It's going to be crazy. I want you to be on the podcast. And I'm like, I don't know what this guy is talking about. He's probably crazy. He is crazy, but he's doing a great job. And then a couple weeks later, I'm seeing Pickleball Next Door. And I'm like, that's amazing. It is. We're going to be number one this year. Number one in the world will be Pickleball Next Door. That's our goal. Our goal is number one this year in the world. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's make it any way possible. We'll get back out there and play because this is free day. I start work in an hour and a half. All right. We'll see what happens. Thank you so much. Thank you, Caleb. Have a great day. Thank you.
